If you are in Amsterdam and looking for fresh product worth the effort to find this local market - a litttle from town centre but good fruit and veggies and local delights. Close enough to Vondelpark for a combined experience as well.
If you are staying the area, do walk through the market. However, not much variety of goods and mainly food at reasonable prices. Much better markets closer to the center. The neighborhood is very boring. Due to construction, the market has moved one block southeast.
This market is more popular with the locals as it sells a lot of fresh produce. Fish, meat, fruit and veggies to all sorts is absolutely mouth watering food from sweet and savory!
