excellent, accommodating, friendly, all the arrangements were communicated by email,
drove us just 2 people to the Hague and Delft. it was an all day trip. beautiful clean new van .

We cannot say enough about the car and tour service Marius provides. Because of him our 5 day trips from Amsterdam were a complete delight. He is punctual, considerate, knowledgeable and has a very comfortable car. It was a pleasure for my wife and I to spend so much time with such an exemplary individual. If the star rating would exceed 5, we would rate him easily a solid 10. We felt very fortunate that we were able to find him and here we are recommending him because we feel others merit experiencing vacation time like we did thanks to Marius.

Hi,
We were very lucky to find Marius of De Dagtoertaxi to see more of Holland while we were in Amsterdam.
We hired him for 2 days. We toured Zaanse Schans, Edam, Marken and Vollendam.
It was so awesome to have a private driver make recommendations, give city tours and go at our own pace. We also hired him to go south to Zeeland to see where my husbands ancestors came from. He was very helpful with translation at a local museum. We also stopped in Delft to a smaller factory and very friendly.
So in conclusion. I would highly recommend Marius and his Prices were very very reasonable. In fact cheaper than if we would have went on a tour.
Do not hesitate to book De Dagtoertaxi very reliable and safe driver.

Marius, a one-man private taxi (Dagtoetaxi) met us when we flew into Amsterdam and took us to the Rotterdam cruise terminal to begin our cruise to Norway. Upon our return 2 weeks later, he met us at the cruise terminal and we began a wonderful day of seeing some of The Netherlands. He speaks 4 languages, is very articulate in English, knowledgeable, obviously lives with trust and integrity, great sense of humor, sharing and very caring...a real gentleman, and importantly, he was always on time.
He walked through all of these cities with us(other than The Hague which was too large to walk) and served as a very personal, wonderful guide. Couldn't have enjoyed all of this any other way with the one day we had available. No money up front and he can take credit cards in his cab. When I say cab, it was a lovely car only 2 months old with an almost full sunroof, had room to stow and cover all of our luggage and was very comfortable. After this full day tour (flexible as we wanted it) he took us to our hotel in Amsterdam. After our time in Amsterdam he again picked us upon at our hotel and took us to the airport for our flight home. He does trips out of Amsterdam into other European countries too.
Given an opportunity to return to Europe, we certainly will use his services again. He is a gem and we now consider him our friend.
He always responded very quickly to our emails as we were jointly working out details for our trip. As a side note, he has taken people in wheelchairs in the past...this would need to be discussed with him. He was just very helpful

Our Celebrity cruise started at Amsterdam, we hire Marius (owner of dagtoertaxi) a one man taxi service that specializes in custom driving tours (of more than 4 hrs.) thought The Netherlands.
We hire his services for a six hour tour of Amsterdam's neighboring towns and also to visit the windmills.
Marius was promptly at our hotel, his knowledge of the country's history is excellent, speaks English very well and drove very safely, was very pleasing to our requests.
Overall we highly recommend if you are planning to take a driving tour and are particular in what you want to see (without having to be in a group tour).
Will need to make a booking at www.dagtoertaxi.nl

Marius picked us up at the port following our cruise, took us to our hotel to drop off all our luggage, and then set out on a wonderful tour. We drove through Amsterdam, out to Zanse Schnase which was really nice, through the countryside to see fields of tulips and windmills, and then to Keukenhof. He told us about living in the Netherlands, some history, some information about what we were seeing. He was a really great guide and driver!

My family of four (daughters 13 and 18) were picked up at our hotel in Amsterdam and driven to Rotterdam for a cruise. Marius picked us up on time. He was friendly, and easy to talk to. He tried to show us a great day. He took us to Delft to see some sites. We learned so much about The Netherlands from him. His prices are reasonable, too. I would recommend him to anyone and I would use him again if I'm ever in The Netherlands. He also drove my parents around for some sightseeing.

Marius is a very kind, informative and has to be one of the most well organized and punctual people that I've ever met. He picked us up exactly on time in a VERY nice van with large windows and an entire sun roof for excellent viewing as he drove. It had plenty of room for myself, my husband and our two sons ages 18 and 20. My husband was born in Holland and wanted to make sure and visit the town that he was born in (Utrecht). He wanted to see the apartment his family had lived in, his sister's school, the Domtoren tower and chapel, and eat at his favorite Dutch pancake restaurant. We pretty well left the rest of the day up to Marius and couldn't be more pleased that we did that. He drove us through the countryside and several little villages. He chose the most scenic routes that he could take us to on the way there and between our visit to the Domtoren and our dinner. Every place he took us was so picturesque and a true Dutch experience. Nothing touristy but just serene and breathtaking at some points. He had already researched and entered each destination that my husband had wanted to see when we got to Utrecht and he had even looked up and made lunch recommendations for us and the best times to eat dinner at the pannenkoeken restaurant, Theehuis Rhynaurwen. Marius was like our own private tour guide as he gave us information when we passed places and answered all of our questions so patiently. The price that he charged us for the entire day with him was very reasonable. We HIGHLY recommend that you hire Marius to drive you to any destination that you want to go to while visiting Holland. Thank you SO much, Marius, for the kind and thoughtful day that you spent with our family.

We had booked the services of Dagtoer taxi for one full day and it was the best decision we made.
Marius is an extremely kind and pleasant person and he was extremely punctual to pick us up from the hotel in Amsterdam.
He took us to some lovely tulip fields and so patiently waited for us to enjoy the fields and click some pictures.
His car was extremely comfortable for us 3 adults and 1 child and he also provided an extremely comfortable baby seat!
I think the price that he charged for the entire day to pick us up from the hotel in Amsterdam , sightseeing stop over for few hours in zaanse schans, and drop us to another city in Netherlands was quite reasonable!
Will definitely recommend him!

Marius Hovius is the owner/driver and is exceptionally reliable and punctual. We used his service from our river cruise dock to The Hague and again from The Hague to the airport.
I would recommend his services to anyone needing transportation in the Amsterdam and surrounding areas. Vehicle was pristine and service was wonderful.
