The first Hunter’s was established in 1985. This popular shop was forced to give up their shop status, but has revived as smoker friendly bar with the same vibe. Have a drink with locals and visitor from all over the world or just enjoy the amazing graffiti art while doing what you do best…

I stay at the Luxer and I smoke and drink at Hunter's. I remember back in the day when Hunter's was one of the iconic coffeeshops along Warmoesstraat. When the city first started making noises about closing them down, I never thought it would happen. But there were a few (Baba) who I said good riddance to because of their staff. But I was going to miss Hunter's and its leaky fish tanks.
I have to admire Hunter's ownership for having reimagined it as a smoking bar. A casual friendly smoking bar. Not one like Route 66, or The Tribe, up the street where anxious owners are pacing about deciding who has bought enough drinks to continue to stay. Hunter's isn’t like that.
For me, there is a type of symbiotic relationship between Hunter's and Luxer. They are across the street from one another. I love drinking and smoking at Hunter’s and staggering across the street to Luxer when it is time to go to bed.

Best pub that we found during our stay in Amsterdam! Very cool vibes, graffiti everywhere, 420 friendly, playing lots of liquid drum and bass. All in all, best spot for a zoot and a pint. I'll be back!!

We used this bar every day during our 3 day Christmas break, although we are not smokers, the atmosphere was fantastic, we enjoyed our drinks in a friendly relaxing way, despite probably being the oldest couple in there we were always made welcome, especially by the young Scots lass, who works her socks off, see you next time...thanks

I went to the Hunters coffeeshop next to Rembrandplein a few times. The Pineapple prerolled join felt like there was no weed at all. Today I paid for a gram and the pin accepted the payment, but a minute later I was told it didnt go though. I paid again and after cheking at home, ive actually paid double price to get mildly stoned, at best, with no charge back option. Cheers Hunters...

Great little coffee shop only small so might struggle to find a seat but it nice there. Staff are friendly. They no longer sell weed here but you can smoke it still.

Nice service and environment. Not too big. For small groups or couples. Stairs to the toilet are a bit challenging, though! but worth trying!

The guy at the bar was a funny and talkative Englishman but I am not sure about the products. Both spacecake and mariju didnt make any effects on us. Good guy but no quality about the products.

I went with four friends. The place has great "herbs" and the quality matches others. The problem was the bartender. He was rude and not very friendly. We had a lot of questions since it was our first visit at a coffee shop. All of the questions was answered rudely and ironically. It was clear that the employee had clue of customer service or how to sell a product. The behaviour was uacceptable and I would not recommend going here. There are too many bars and coffee shops with better service and products.

We were staying a few doors down from this place, from the outside it is nothing to look at, but step inside and you get a warm welcome.
The place is frequented by all generations of locals and tourists alike. Relaxed atmosphere and great music.
All staff were friendly and entertaining. Open till late and we spent plenty of time savouring the delights of Amsterdam.
