About
We are Amsterdam's historic and iconic Dragshow Bar Lellebel since 1997 located just off Rembrandtplien. We are a home for many and a safe haven for everyone. With drag queens and transgender individuals serving drinks as well as drag performances, Dragshow Bar Lellebel attracts visitors from all over the world. Weekly on Sunday is dedicated to the Transgender community as a support ‘safe space’. We welcome all but strictly will NOT tolerate any form of aggression, sexism, phobias, discrimination and those seeking ‘thrill$’!!

I spent the first night of my week long solo adventure in Amsterdam at this magical little bar located off of Rembrandtplein. I had done a little research on queer bars in Amsterdam. I happened to recognize the name as I was aimlessly walking around at night trying to find a bar to entertain myself at (my original plans to go to International Beyonce Day at Club Nyx failed after I neglected to pre-purchase tickets to the event and it was sold out). All dressed up with nowhere to go it was divine intervention that i came upon this place.
The bar is cute inside. They were playing Latin music/reggaeton which I am a big fan of. I was greeted with warmth, kindness, and killer humor by the bartender, Miss Sugiri, Drag Mother of them all. She kept me company interweaving queer life lessons and jokes into our deep conversation. I watched throughout the night as younger queens came in for a drink and to kiss Miss Sugiri's hand, all acknowledging them as their drag mom.
I had fantastic conversations with patrons there, bio queen Wanda Fish, and her protoge (who I did not catch the name of). Very friendly establishment with wonderful people to talk, laugh, and drink with throughout the night.

This small bar with a great character located close to the Rembrandtplein is worth a visit if you like drag shows. Loads of artists performing either playback and some even live. Entrance free for who is open minded and likes these shows

Tori and the team are exquisite! This is a great place where everyone in the community can feel welcome. We wish we would have found this gem sooner!! Sunday Karaoke is a Blast!

Small and stuffy venue, drag acts not on par with anything I’ve seen before, dragged out between act getting on stage which made the drag aspect boring, bar staff spoke rudely. Slow with drinks basically didn’t enjoy this place at all which is a shame as had high expectations from other reviews.

Really friendly and safe environment
Tory and the team were so welcoming and upbeat , interactive and engaged with their guests.
Really enjoyable , community orientated and overall just a nice place with a nice crowd.
We are returning in may 2024 to Amsterdam and we will be back for sure x

This place is small but always friendly and welcoming.
Some of the acts are great and they must spend hours getting ready.
Last time I called in it was karaoke night which was a good laugh.

I went out with a few friends around Rembrandtplein and on our way back home, a friend saw this bar, so the 2 of us headed there. It was fantastic, really made our night. People were really friendly, dj very accommodating, cheapish drinks...

We were welcomed like old friends the moment we stepped through the door. The crowd is friendly, warm and fun. The drinks are reasonably priced and on Tuesdays there's karaoke which is huge fun. It's not a huge place but it's full of charm and everyone we met and spoke to were absolutely lovely. We can't recommend Lellebel's enough.

We carry a very nice quality line of wines.
We do not sell weed but there is a Hunter's coffeeshop next door.

As a female in my late 50s travelling alone, would I feel safe in Lellebel Drag Queen bar? I have been on my own at Sparkles Bar in Playa del Ingles & not only thoroughly enjoyed it but felt very safe too. Thanks

Lellebel is under new management. The owner is a woman and lesbian. So, very female friendly.
