I was attracted by the aroma from outside. I popped in and my eyes almost popped out. I bought the over 24 months old cheese, vacuum sealed, and they tell you how to store it. They even give you paper to wrap it in once opened. Highly recommend ChrisPi

I stumbled upon this cheese store during my time in Amsterdam. As a cheese lover it's an absolute must. The staff is very friendly and engages in conversation right when you walk in. The girl working there explained everything and more about the cheese and best of all, I could try all of them! To avoid travelling back with a heavy suitcase they helped me order my cheese online to be delivered at my house. Just as easy, because as an expat going back home the suitcase is already full enough. I can't wait to enjoy my cheese at home!

Went today in the Kalverstraat shop, where a talented italian girl (i missed the name, and i'm sorry for this reason) gently told me all that i would know about dutch cheese. But nothing is better than try some slice, and here you can do it. This is definitely THE place for dutch cheese. Nothing more to day. Just try it!

Centrally located. We walked there from De Straatjes, the district where famous Dutch houses are. You can sample various cheese. Downstairs in the basement there is a small free Cheese museum. The stairs are very steep and spiral, you won’t be able to take a stroller down. And would have to carry a toddler.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Leidsestraat 2 location of this remarkable cheese store on the afternoon of 12 June. The staff at this store were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They graciously offered me a chance to sample their selection of young cheese, old cheese, and truffle cheese. The tasting experience I had was simply delightful and brought immense joy to my day.

Ive made an order 2 months ago, and didn't receive it until now. Ive contacted them a few times, and recived an answer that if the oreder will not arrive by the end of the week the order will be canceled. its been 3 weeks since then, they are still ignoring my emails. A "great" service i will not come back again to recive.

We walked into the store not expecting much because there are so many cheese shops, however we were greated by a lovely guy call Heddy. He was very knowledgeable and explained all the different cheeses and jams. He really knew his stuff and is a credit to the company. The cheese is pretty good too!

We liked it, purchased cheese in a number of places and it was all good. I'm sure in the heart of the city it is all for tourists, but there is no doubting the quality. Plenty of samples available and purchasing done.

Very lovely and competent staff however sad that you can find mouse poo next to the cheese that is overpriced.. I do not know much about hygienic reglementations in holland but I doubt that this can be accepted!

Dear Yasmin, thanks for your visit. We are constantly working to eliminate the presence of rodents in our shops. Unfortunately sometimes one slips through. With regard to our cheese selection, all our cheese is from the North-Holland region which we consider the best place in The Netherlands to make cheese. Kind regards
