While strolling we came upon this most tidy, bright, and lovely shop. It features a WIDE array of high quality soaps, made on premises. It also has many cloths, children's items, bags, and related gift items, most made in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. The sales lady was most charming and knowledgeable. Great experience.

Went here looking for some gifts for family before leaving town and was able to check everyone off our list here! Beautiful soaps, lotions and bath products (including for men), as well as baby gifts.

Every time I am in Amsterdam I make it a point to stop by this gift shop. It has a wonderful selection of soaps, hand towels, toiletry bags name a few examples. I always stock up on their products to give as gifts. Who would not be tempted by their soaps that are in a rainbow of colors or matching face towels? They always beautifully wrap up the gifts.

This cute shop was recommended by a friend and the soaps smelled divine, but the service was absolutely HORRIBLE. No offer to assist, and when I asked that my soaps be double wrapped to ensure their safe trip back to Canada, I was told “it’s good enough” in a short and curt manner. And when I still thanked her after that unexpected rude exchange, she didn’t even acknowledge me. Now I know us Canadians are known to be super friendly (and we are) but cmon, isn’t it a reflex to return kindness when it’s shown to you? Guess not😔.

If I could simply just give -100000 stars, I would!
Avoid even going in to this store forget about the service. The products are good but doesn’t mean anything without a welcoming service.
There was a fat woman didn’t even squeeze a smile on her cheek. We walked in and she didn’t say anything we both wandered around trying to get a gift. After 3 mins she just shouted “ Can I help you?!” We both were shocked with the unwelcome atmosphere, my sis was born and raised in Netherlands, she immediately had a conversation in Dutch with her, my sis asked, are we not welcome to your shop? What happened to your manner ?, she just apologised reluctantly, like “meh.. sorry..”
We left the shop immediately.

Ridiculous staff. I was taking pictures to show my partner to select presents for Christmas and the lady behind the counter made a scene about what I'm doing. Another customer lost...

Great place to get hand made soaps. They can arrange and package them for you to spell out names, etc. which can be neat for kids or as souvenirs.

A small shop but full of delights in beautifully coloured and scented soaps, toiletries bags etc etc. I always come home to the UK with a selection of gorgeous soaps at least.
