Room Escape Amsterdam, Play this exciting game live in Amsterdam West. Room Escape Amsterdam is one of the best getaways for both individuals and businesses. The concept is very simple, you will be imprisoned, together with your friends, colleagues or relatives in one of our escape rooms. A Room Escape game lasts up to 1 hour but the is, of course, to escape from the room as quickly as possible. You do this by solving puzzles, clues and good cooperation.

This was amazing. Our kids have done a number of escape rooms in UK and USA and for them this got the highest rating by far. For us as parents it was the first time we had done an escape room. Incredible attention to detail and such a lot of fun. We are still talking about it! Thoroughly recommended. Advance booking essential but the website is easy to navigate and the room and clues were presented to us in English.

Room escape is the ultimate teambuilding experience, especially if it is your first time.
The name says it all, you need to escape out of the room within the hour. You can achieve this by solving puzzles and riddles.
Each room has a different theme, the most ideal group size is 4 persons.
The rooms that I visited is "Wapendepot" and "Into the Woods".
The puzzle are creative and fun to do. Some need strength, some need brain power other requires teamwork. It doesn't matter what age you are, everybody can participate. You are full or adrenaline when you are finished. Hopefully your group broke out of the room.
Try it with your friends, family or your colleagues, you'll enjoy every minute of it.
It is over before you know it.
The waiting area, is decorated as one big living room, with a foot football table, puzzles and board games. Just to kill time while waiting on your turn.
The total costs are €90 per room, it doesn't matter with how many persons you go. The max is 6 persons a room, but I'll recommend 4.
All in all a great concept, that orginates from America. You'll see more and more of these rooms in different cities.

I am happy to hear you had a good time in Amsterdam, we offer many games here but we are not a hotel :)

Bit different for someone who has visited Amsterdam as many times as I thought I had experienced the majority of what the city had to offer. Away from the main tourist hot spots this is a fun exercise for a group of bright minds. We actually went into this activity with a bit of friction in our group from the previous days antics and this actually brought us together as we worked away at the clues to complete the challenge so highly recommended as a team building exercise.

This was the third room escape we have done but the first with our children (ages 9 & 11). The organisation and quality of the room (we did the Bank Heist) were exceptional, it was so well designed and the tips/hints were perfectly timed. I would highly recommend.

The Vault room is challenging, even for experienced escape room addicts. We had a lot of fun and excitement in solving the puzzles. And the best part was that we succeeded and escaped the room. According to the hosts only 5% of the guests makes it out of the Vaut room in time, so we celebrated our victory. Thankfully they have more rooms to escape from, so we will go back soon. It might be hard to find it as it is located way out of the city center.

This was really cool. Apparently one of the newer attractions in Amsterdam and definitely one you don't want to miss out on. It is in Amsterdam West, just outside city centre but fortunately the distances in the Netherlands are not that far, easy to reach. Definitely an activity where you participate yourself with friends/colleagues. Apparently you can ask for a BBQ as well if you book in advance and for larger groups but we had run out of time, location seemed to be perfect for it. Waiting time is relaxing time, you can play a bit of table football and darts and hang around outside in nature, in Amsterdam!
I would like to say more about the escape plan but don't want to give anything away so can only say: just do it!!!
