About
We have three different escape rooms of different themes: Zombie Apocalypse, Water Flood and Black Hole. It is possible to play in teams from 2 to 26 people at one go. Teams who already played may watch the game of their mates. Save Amsterdam is one of the most technically advanced rooms. We have lots of embedded electronics, which makes the room interactive even where you cannot predict that. Zombie Apocalypse Room It all becomes serious when the virus gets out of the laboratory, infects the population and starts transforming people into zombies. You cannot hide in your sweet home on a cosy sofa with a cup of your favourite drink, watching the next episode of a tv series. Try to gather all your strength together to save the city. Bu don't think it is going to be an easy task. You'll have only one hour before the lab blows up. Water Flood Room Amsterdam was always under the thread of massive water willing to cover the whole country. Today the catastrophy is even closer, as the water pump guy suddenly disappeared, and there is nobody in the whole world who knows how to activate the pump. This is your chance to get into the water station and prevent the great flood in the city. Only 60 minutes are at your disposal, and you must use them wisely! Black Hole Room Science never stops trying to manipulate and dominate nature. One man took it too far and created a Black hole too forceful to control, unleashing immense danger upon us all. Being sucked into his own creation it's now up to you to save Amsterdam in its final hour. Are you up to the challenge.

Save Amsterdam was not my first escape room but it is definitely in top 3 of my list of my favorite rooms. The whole concept of zombie apocalypses is a very exciting thing, but if you add to that idea two cool guys with great sense of humor and excellent technical and logical skills you will get a Save Amsterdam. Room is very interesting to play and it has some really wow things. I am recommending to visit it to all my friends. But if you go there ask for a hint, even if you don`t need it, cause the way you will get it is amazing)))))
Good luck

The quest venue is located in the basement, consists of several rooms. You should do you best in order to survive the ordeal and save Amsterdam from angry and hungry zombies:) If you experience some problems the smart printer will give you clues. The music during the quest sounds a little bit ominous. I almost succeeded but didn't have enough time. The hosts are 2 cute and very cordial guys, one of them even took me back to my hotel in his car:) Can definitely recommend Save Amsterdam to everybody!

We had terrible experience there. We played The Black Hole and were team of 2 players (with experience of more than 130 rooms). The room is too big and the puzzles are very time consuming for 2 players although the website didn't clearly indicate that. Also the host did awful job. He didn't speak English very well, which is surprising for Amsterdam, and in the last 10 minutes, when we needed him the most, we just couldn't get his attention.
About the room - the story was non existent. You need to go to the black hole and back to earth (this is not a spoiler), but why you need to do so... you basically have no idea and some of the puzzles didn't make sense with the theme of the room ...
Don't spend your money there... there are so many better options in Amsterdam. This one is just not one of them.

I've done 3 different escape rooms and this was the best one I've been to. It's not boring like some I've been to.
It is hard enough to enjoy but not too hard that you loose interest.
Highly recommend
The venue is hard to find and not very well sign posted but well worth finding

This is one of the best escape rooms in Amsterdam! They are really professional (I love the text reminders and the light effects are really professional), it's clean (compared to other escape rooms), and it's so challenging and fun. It's also great they give you personal feedback and explain several things afterwards. It's totally worth your money!

I've done 6 escape rooms in three countries, and my game partners have also done 5 in two countries. We all agreed that this one was one of the best so far! Fantastic use of technology intergration and it was hard!!

THIS IS A MUST!

If you want an hour of really cool entertainment in Amsterdam, this escape room is great. You have to be like Sherlock and solve clues to find the antidote to the zombie apocalypse in a room full of mysteries and confusing puzzles. It's really well thought out and worth it.

We had a corporate team building even there at SaveAmsterdam. Personally, I was not sure about what that was about. It turned out to be a fantastic place full of different activities for the brain. Good that it was before the restaurant, not after it. The good part is also that this became a real team building event in its literal meaning: people who were only names-in-a-employees-directory de-virtualized and started to be real people with their great ideas. Quite recommended.

This was booked by one of the members of our party as a surprise so we had no idea what to expect. Its a great thing to do when you want to get away from the hustle of the city. It turned out to be a lot of fun, working as a team, and was one of the best things we did during our stay in Amsterdam. It was the first puzzle solving activity I have ever done but after experiencing this one I'd definitely love to do another.

I'd recommend this to anyone from teens upwards.

My only tip is you need to really look out for this place as it isn't sign posted, and is located down a side street.
