Address
Neighborhood: Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

You can choose from different types of coffee-making methods and different varieties of coffee. I recommend trying the V60, which is a slow brew using a special filter. The result gives a coffee with an amazing aroma that you can really appreciate, allowing you to experience the complexity and nuances of the flavor.
The staff provides very good and interesting explanations, and they are very kind, as well as being dog lovers.

One of the places I had to visit several times. Really good coffee. Had two types of espresso's, both perfectly made! And also had a pot of Chemex coffee, very good that too. Lots of knowledge behind the counter.
The place to go if you want to have great coffee. No bakery, no fuzz. Just amazing coffee!

Contemporary space for coffee and croissant before visiting the Van Gogh museum. Yet another fabulous coffee bar in Amsterdam. Coffee Company, Bocca Coffee and Koffiespot also highly recommended.

Nice cafe close to museumplein, usually a take away place for most but they have got sufficient seating and nice interior as well. Latte is really good with lots of cream and americano was strong enough. They have got coffee machines, coffee beans, crushed coffee and some other stuff for sale. A very old coffee machine for display not sure how that used to work though.

There is a lot of tea shops in Amsterdam but not all have good quality. I I've just bought a pound jasmine tea in this shop that actually sells coffee and all its accessory like coffee machines, mugs and also chocolate. The tea is good. It is also possible to sit and have a cup of coffee or tea in this shop.
