My partner took me to Amsterdam 3 years ago for my birthday and we went to house of bols. It was lots of fun and the staff made us lots of tasty shots and cocktails for free! Everyone was very friendly and informative.

It was nice, funny, tasty. Coctails were amazing. Stuff so friendly. Museum shop is a little bit poor for my taste but ok.

I wanted to spend some time during the day going somewhere new. I found The House of Bols online, and booked a ticket. It is the oldest distillery in Netherlands, and maybe even in the world! The museum shows the history of Bols from the...More

This is a MUST do experience! Ranks #1 for me over brewery tours. I don't want to give away any of the experience but it includes a great drink at the end of the tour!

An audio led walk through is a pleasure and the smell-your-favorite-flavor zone created the best experience. A contraption that allows you to smell a multitude of aromas is a place where one deciphers and learns to distinguish the fine lines of aroma and blending. The...More

I feel this is one of the best alcohol tours I have been on. It is an audio tour but very interactive. Plenty to test your senses. Cocktails at end were good and cheap to buy extra compared to pubs. I would go again.

Yes there is a lovely gift shop. I thought the prices were fair to expensive depending on the gift. I did make a couple of purchases for friends birthday presents which I felt were special.
