this is a hidden gem, on the apollolaan, close to the trams in the beethovenstraat (true, there is no tram in frront of the door, its about 10 min walk) with a lovely library to drink coffee in, a wooden bar, a private theater (!) and an old fashioned lift. I would advice to take the stairs instead. Red velvet and wood are the main tones here. The rooms are too simple (old tv, few channels, no aircon, very old bathroom) but the view of the garden is lovely and makes up for all that.
