We were happy to have a tour of the Red Light District because it was a very confusing area and packed with people on a Saturday night. It felt like a crowd on New Years Eve. This tour in particular wasn't what I expected. We...More
We had Kimberly as our guide. She knows her stuff and knows the area. If it is your first time to Amsterdam and to the Red light than a tour and orientation with Kimberly is the best way to go.
After the tour we felt...More
We've done this tour every time we are in Amsterdam, because it's always a great time and informative. We would never find all the unique and quirky places and facts on our own! Plus the conversations that occur during it are always great. Let's face...More
We were glad we joined Kimberly on this tour. She is knowledgeable, funny, comfortable with the topic and gives a easy but informative visit to The RedLight District. Our group was small so easy to manage the area and to learn the backstory of this...More
Kimberly was able to provide a private tour for our group of 14. She was very knowledgeable about the Red Light District and Amsterdam. She catered the tour to our interest - curious about the whole concept, but unsure what to expect. It was great...More

My husband and I took Kimberly‘s red light district tour during our visit to Amsterdam. As others have reviewed, take the tour at the beginning of your trip so you have time to do some of the things that she recommends. We had such a...More
Walk through red light district with someone that knows the area. Kim will tell you all about the area and answer your questions. Kim made it very interesting and informative for us. Bought us all a drink at the end and answered all our questions.
Kim was an excellent guide on this walking tour of Amsterdam's Red Light District. We learned so much about the sex trade business as well as many historical sights in the area. Kim's humor set everyone at ease, and I greatly appreciated her respect for...More
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
Anyone done the Randy Roy's Redlight Tours? (14 Replies)
is it worth it or is the experience kinda the same if you walk around the place yourself ?

I haven't done it but i'm sure walking around the place by yourself would have the same effect and paying someone to walk you round a few streets probably would be a waste of money. People say about learning the history of the red light area but the fact of history is this.... men want to get laid, women want to get paid. I personally find it a little bit disturbing round there and paying to sleep with someone who has probably slept with 1000+ people isn't too appealing.
