And has Bavaria and La Chouffe draft! What else can you ask? By far my two favorite beers in Amsterdam. A nice place where to unwind and have a drink.

When I arrived here, there was a group of elderly people singing traditional Dutch songs. It was amazing!!! The bad point was just that they had no food.

Cosy and comfy with friendly staff. Our children were offered sweeties with their drinks and the landlady was happy to talk over the beer selection with my husband. The corner position means there's plenty to see out the windows, although this pub is in a...More

This little pub is loaded with character: nostalgic posters, dated décor, low sticky tables, and a nonchalant bartender. It is clearly a local’s hangout where middle-aged customers all know each other. We sat at a table at the front window – where we watched passer-by’s...More

We chanced upon this cafe/bar on Saturday evening. We thought we'd have a quick drink before dinner which turned into 3 rounds. Didn't really want to leave due to a lovely atmosphere and most welcoming staff.

We popped in here before choosing where to go for our evening meal. There were several nice looking bars but I was swayed by the twinkling lights in the window. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly bar lady and nice wine. We sat at the table in...More

My friends and I had a terrible impression about this place. Racist staff! The waitress was very rude, yelling in a very agressive way!!! I've never seen something like this in a bar.. It seems that they don't like tourist which it's stupid seeing where...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
