The area
Neighborhood: Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

This was my favorite coffee shop that I went to while in Amsterdam (and my boyfriend took me to many). We were just walking around and randomly walked into here.
Coming from someone whoo does not smoke, this was such a cool vibe. The front of the shop is where you can sit or buy whatever goodies you want. The back area is awesome. The lights are super dim, there’s artwork all over, and Pringle chip dispensers too. There are tables on one side, and the other side are couch-booth type chill areas.
I really liked this place because of how I inviting and cozy it felt. The coffee espresso from here was actually very good !

Great service, very cool guys. Relaxing and funny experience.
You can choose what to smoke and what to drink, the guy that served us was so great, giving some good advice and helping us choose.
First time experience in a coffeshop and a good one.

Went for a visit on the stag do, i opted for the 2* brownie, all appeared to be well at first until after a couple of hours after coming out of a bar I desperately needed a minute to gather myself, a certain weightlessness came over me and there were to many questions of my internal monologue to answer, I proceeded to carry on struggling until we went on a hired beer bike. I thoroughly enjoyed this until I got of the bike and realisation hit me, that I had in fact soiled my self and of course then had to announce it to the group. Overall great experience would go again!

We were so naïve – the sign said a “coffeeshop” and feeling peckish we had a couple of brownies. There was lots of floor space, coffee wasn’t very good but brownie tasted ok, the atmosphere was buzzing even if the music was a little loud. We sat on sofas at the front of the café.  About an hour later we began to feel dull and unwell – later we were informed that brownie definitely contained marijuana, as a hash café has the “coffeeshop” sign outside - not a “coffee shop,” “café,” or “coffee house” So be warned – for better or worse. We are not marijuana fans

My girlfriend and I visited on Monday and found the staff to be extremely rude which made us feel uneasy and really unwelcome which is a shame as I was really excited to try easytimes. We ordered a gram of the more expensive cannabis on the menu and my girlfriend bought a tea, we sat down at the vaporiser to smoke some bud. After half an hour I approached the counter to get a drink for myself, I had to wait 10 minutes to be served so that the 2 staff members could finish there very important gossiping session they seemed to be having. The girl behind the counter finally acknowledged me and asked if my girlfriend wanted anything to drink, when told no she gave me a dirty look. I asked what was wrong and she said we both had to purchase something if we wanted to sit and smoke in there, we had already spent over 25 euros on cannabis and refreshments. When I pointed this out the girl didnt seem very apologetic for her mistake saying she didnt realise. Afterwards we were made to feel really unwelcome as both the staff membered eyes burned a hole in the back of our heads. We purchased more cannabis and left. On a whole, the menu has a great selection compared to other places; however we were left extremely disappointed with the service. I dont usually write reviews but I found this particular experience pretty bad. I would not recommend. Choose a quieter less touristy coffeeshop for a better experience.

I can not forget the 'hash caramel and primera, the real hash from Morocco. wow ...! good music, good atmosphere in front of one of the most famous canals in Amsterdam, the staff is incredible, hospitality, friendliness. this is not a coffee shops, this is a family ... try it. if you make a trip to AMSTERDAM is THE FIRST PLACE TO VISIT. Someone in French wrote exactly the same experience I had. It shows that the place has this attitude with the costumers. I'm still shocked by the way I was treated. We were consuming, we bought almost 50 bucks and the woman (dark curly hair) started to invite us to leave because in her point of view we weren't consuming. She said it out loud and it was extremely embarrassing. They should understand that this is not acceptable at all. We tried to complain after and she was very aggressive, and started to say that it didn't matter with whom I was talking to (at this point I was trying to explain to a blond girl who works there) because she was above the blond girl. When we left she came running after us and in a very rude way said she wanted to talk to my husband. I told her that we had nothing to hear from her and she insisted. It was surreal to be treated like that. I'm travelling for a month and I've never been treated this way. Be aware that you could be treated like this. It's a place who uses coertion to get consummation and does it repeatedly.

I’m going to start with the good points first because they, for me, outweigh the bad points.
So it’s not centrally located however from Dam, it’s about 10/15 minutes by tram and stop at Prinsengracht, which nearby are lots of eateries and shops. Once inside I got a chilled vibe, great music... RnB, trap music etc. The seating is good, though seems to get busy: we sat by the entrance as I like to have some fresh air. Excellent selection of weed and cakes. We had a few joints of the Caramello which was good and a brownie, which in my opinion was although chocolatey could taste the weed heavily. All items inexpensive too in my opinion.
Now, for the cons...
They don’t accept card payments unless maestro, which isn’t a big deal, my bf popped out to the ATM round the corner and I seated waiting for him to come back (he was literally 2 minutes) ..One young lady, short, with short dark brown hair, kept giving me weird looks. I don’t know if it’s because I was waiting OR she assumed I was just there to use the free wifi, but she literally looked at me and shook her head in what seemed like disgust. I was so taken aback. She could have asked me if I was ok to which I would have told her I was waiting for my bf to come back but she just gave these mean looks. She knew he went to the ATM as she served him to start off with! Then my bf comes back with cash and asks another staff member, this time male, for a drink and he replies he doesn’t serve drinks..however we saw him serving drinks to others! FYI, when we were smoking the girl seemed to have cheered up by then as she was smiling at me every time she looked my direction. But the damage was sort of done by then, it just made me feel so unwelcome after reading so many great reviews! I don’t wish to jump to any conclusions as to why we were treated like this but it weren’t nice.
However, I do want to say a great well done to one of the male staff members who had to deal with someone who passed out in there, very professionally dealt with.
I can’t say I won’t return because I did like the vibe. But I hope the staff change their attitude a bit at least!

This is the bomb, you come in, act cool, don't be a jerk, treat the staff with respect and then survey a list of the finest chron on the planet. You can buy mixed prerolled, you can buy straight prerolled, you can by dank nuggs, you can buy hashish of any kind. There are grinders, and papers available and should you forget your lighter the staff will loan you one. The music is irie, the vibe awesome and the bud terrific. Prices are fair. I spent a lot f time in this cafe, and lounged outside after burning a phatty off. If you love bud, this is the place and Amsterdam gets it. Good job!
