A truly independent brewery a few minutes bus ride from Central station. Plenty of seats outside under the heaters and great beer inside. Try the seasonal 9% Injedjaars: spot on for such a cold afternoon.

This brewery is outside of town but so worth the walk or taxi. It’s a cool scene, great beers, and it’s in a windmill! You can’t go up inside the windmill (it’s a private residence) but you still get great pics outside. So go!

Do try the platter of different beers and the cheese. It was fantastic as an early evening snack. Few seats, so come early.

The Brouwerij 't IJ is a bit outside the city center but it was worth the trip. Great atmosphere, great (cheap) snacks and delicious beer.

Old windmill with a very nice view where you can buy amazing beers and relax. They have their own beers wich are realy good. You can also have some dutch cheese and sausage. I loved this place!

Yes, it's beer only, but how's the time to try if you are solely a wine drinker. You might be converted!
