Welcoming staff, helpful and joked around with us. Served us quickly. Quirky little layout. Designed nicely, not over packed. Plenty of beer, lots of choice. Fun place for groups of friends, they keep board games in the front.

Great selection of draft and bottled beers. The drafts change with the seasons. I really enjoy the Christmas draft beers in December.

I have swilled many a beer here over the years, but last Saturday's visit was not as positive as most. It was not busy, but the service was lousy. We were a group of 7 sitting outside enjoying the views and some tasty beers. First...More

This old pub is the beer lovers place to go. A huge variety of tap and bottled beers in a very special atmosphere makes this place a must while visiting Amsterdam. Warmly recommended!

We stopped off here for refreshments. The barman was really knowledgeable about the different beers he sold and was happy to share. He also recommended beers once you had had one! Fantastic personality. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful country side. Sunny day will recommended. I missed to see the village there as I went with tour I had only an hour to see everything I think two hours will be more relax and take some good pictures.

This is an old-fashioned bar full of atmosphere and character. There is a large blackboard listing the beers on tap plus a book-like menu of bottled beers, spirits and other drinks. The staff are extremely good at their job: once they knew where you were...More

This is my favorite place in Amsterdam to drink beer. There is something on draft for every palate. Additionally they have a nice bottle selection. Lastly, the staff is excellent; especially Suzette and Sofia.

I hadn't been in this bar before but was impressed by its old-fashioned look and feel. Amsterdam really does do the historic pub very well in a way that few countries can match - England is probably one of the only others that really does...More

I replied to your other post. Turn Right coming from your hotel following Niewendijk on Kolk. Located on the left hand side on Kolk.

Follow Niewendijk from your hotel and 3-4 streets off to the right on KOLKSTREET. It is a rather small place on the left side of Kolk if you come from Niewendijk.
