Old tower

There's a few towers of this kind in Amsterdam(Munttoren is one of them).Nice architecture.Unfortunately, none of them can be visited, you can see them only from the outside.

The architecture stands out! Beautifully located near one of the largest canals in the city and worth seeing. Most boat tours will pass by it so you can learn about it.

This tower is the only structure that really stands out when you walk by the canal and take the canal tour. Look up to its top edge and see a unique blue ball!

The MONTELBAANS TOREN is a wonderful landmark tower that look's stunning. We made a little trip down here to have a look at the tower and also to have a few coffee's and beer's in this district of the city in some of the café's and pub's close to the tower. The tower and canal's look amazing and offer great... More

Built in 1512, on the Eastern edge of the city walls , the red brick tower was fortified and used as a watchtower. In 1606 the spire and clock was added. These additions were designed by Hendrick de Keyser, who was... More

An opportunity for a great photo, especially whilst on a canal boat. Great building in a lovely area of the city.
