Surprised by the large selection of beers, many from rural areas of The Netherlands that are hard to find. The waiters know a lot about beer and are able to suggest beer - even if you don't like beer. It's also possible to try a beer before you order. Their terrace next to the canal is nice but small. It's... More

I should have started here, instead of finishing a week in Amsterdam at Arendsnest. Walked in the door like a typical tourist, taking pictures, but was soon talking Netherlands brewing with the barkeep, who introduced me to some incredible local flair. Simply put, if you're into beer, go here, first. Don't limit yourself to the huge tap selection, there are... More

I read a lot about ‘t Arendsnest and it was at the top of my list of places to visit in Amsterdam. Boy, was I not disappointed! I love doing beer flights, and I ordered a 5-glass flight – bartender’s choice. The first was great and they just kept getting better. Service was friendly and bar snacks were yummy. Had... More

This place is a real gem for beer lovers. It has a very impressive selection of beers on tap for reasonable prices and even some great cheese and meat tasting boards. Went back a second time to try even more beers the following day. Staff are very helpful if you don't know exactly which beer to choose and there is... More

Fantastic little bar. Great beer and super helpful and friendly staff that know their beer and are enthusiastic about their products. Would recommend to any real beer enthusiasts. We also did the Morebeer tour which was great fun.

A very nice experience. We came early, around 4 pm and had a couple of beers. The menu is varied and excotic, and the barkeeps are friendly, helpful and clearly knowledgable when it comes to beers! Would come back again!

So many interesting beers here that you must be very hard to please if you do not enjoy yourself here. Only Dutch craft beers here so don't expect heineken nor amstel.

Visited a few Dutch pubs while in Amsterdam and this was by far the best. Great selection of Dutch beers. Fantastic variety also, lagers, IPAs, porters, stouts and a lot more. Very welcoming and friendly. I'd recommend the 'Custard Porter'.
