It was a perfect day to do this boat trip for 3 hours throughout the canals of Amsterdam. Even i live here, it is
always very special to see the city from the water. The electric engine is so quiet, and it was an excellent surprise to explore the city - a perfect experience!

Love mokumboot, best guys for renting boats in Amsterdam. They are always super friendly, and very accomodating. The boats has good speed and sturdy, What i like is that they have the steering wheel and the table in the middle, small details but it makes a big difference of enjoying the boat experience in Amsterdam. Would highly recommend!

This was one of the best things we did in Amsterdam! Easy to make reservation, very short, streamlined process at the boat location and we were off on our canal excursion. The Mokum personnel were friendly and helpful; the boats easy to operate, clean, reasonably comfortable. It was nice to explore the canals on our own, instead of on one of the big crowded tour boats. (But watch out for the big, crowded tour boats while you are piloting the Mokumboat! They aren't likely to give way!)

We had to give a deposit of €100 in cash only, which was a problem since we don't really have cash on us, specially in COVID times. We had to walk to an ATM and lost valuable late afternoon sunny time. (they had told us to bring cash in a confirmation email in Dutch where it was at the bottom of the email.)
The service was very friendly though, but it was not an ideal start. Strongly recommend to incorporate electronic deposits (we had paid already for our boat via iDeal). The boats were OK although too slow to our opinion.

This was perfect idea, you get the whole boat to yourself. We brought sandwiches and snacks, and you can rent the boat by the hours. The canals were very easy to navigate and the loop took us about 2 hours. This was way better than any guided boat tour we could of done. If I could give a higher rating i would. Staff was friendly and helpful. 10/10 would visit and recommend to anyone visiting amsterdam.

We booked this trip and decided to choose three hours rather than two hours - so glad we did. We had a great time. The weather was amazing and the boat was easy to manoeuvre. Helpful staff at the dock. What would make it better? A) more cushions so you could learn on them and be more comfortable. B) a guided map which has a bit more information about sights that you go past.

We had the best day!
We were greeted by the lovely Daan at the Amstel pickup location. He took us through some tips for the boat, it's all super easy.
We recommend the 3 hours, we could have spent all day out there!

Amazing helpful personnel, I dropped of a bag with some drinks early in the afternoon so I didn't have to carry them on my walk through Amsterdam. It was no problem for the guy working there, great service. The boat is really easy to drive. Would recommend Mokumboot to anybody.

This company is highly recommended. I make a mistake with the booking and they allowed me to change it in last minute after even comforting. So human company and excellent customer service.

We always rent from Mokum and it’s easy breezy. We typically rent from the Mauritskade location and then take the Plantage route that is on their map. The route isn’t busy and is a good one for beginners using boats on the canals. It does take you to Amstel. We’ve taken our dog and made a picnic on the water.

Dat is mogelijk maar sinds een week is de Boerenwetering afgesloten. Dat betekent dat u via de Amstel naar het Centrum moet varen. Onze locatie Amstel die deze maand open gaat is dan een stuk gunstiger gelegen.
