Really enjoyed the virtual tour hosted by Alex. It was a delightful pastime to learn some history of graffiti and get a closer look at various street art work in and around Amsterdam, plus hear the stories about them. While we are all stuck at home during this period I would recommend it to everyone either alone or log on as a family to attend, it is a great alternative to travel for the time being! Thanks AllTourNative!

Really pleased I joined in on this one! A very interesting and enjoyable experience, great for anyone with any degree of interest in art, looking for something to do whilst stuck in the house for whatever reason (I took this tour during a Covid 19 related lockdown). Our 'guide', Alex, took us through the history of street art, paying attention to how the movement developed historically and bringing us right up to date with recent examples, including a nice emphasis on local examples. He certainly knew his stuff thanks to his authentic background and passion for the subject. The time flew by and the interaction was friendly and easy. I highly recommend this experience!

We attended a street art tour with Marvin on Saturday and it was great. Marvin was a great guide and very knowledges on the art. He was very up beat and could tell he loved the area and knew everyone who walked past. Left feeling very inspired.

Our family love urban alternative art tours, and this is one of the very best we've tried. Marvin gave us a fabulous tour of murals in southeast Amsterdam. It's an area we never would have visited, with incredible and varied art we otherwise never would have seen, and Marvin was great company - a funny, smart, very informative guide with lots of personal knowledge and experience of the area and the artists. Well worth taking the time, even if you're only in Amsterdam for a couple of days.

This was a fascinating tour and our guide, Alex was particularly good. It was held in an interesting neighborhood in the South of the city which has been beautified with giant murals on the sides of buildings. Alex took his role seriously and was very knowledgeable and passionate about his subject.

Don't miss it!

I have done two tours with ATN like two weeks ago in Amsterdam, one out of the city center and another in the city. One was about street art murals in a district that used to be a getto now going through some gentrification with Brian as our guide. It was very nice to hang out with him, he knew everything about the place, and the place knew him. The murals were beautiful. An absolute must do! The other tour was also about street art, graffiti, graff history, about squats, gentrification and other things more like in the central part of the city. Alex was great, knew a lot on his subject and talked about it in a passionate way. I am very glad that I took both tours.

I've been living in Amsterdam for almost 2.5 years and I did this tour with my visiting parents. I thought it would be a fun thing for THEM to do, but I was shocked by how much I learned and enjoyed from it myself! Around every corner was an interesting fact that I had not known before - everything from the squat culture to the gay/lesbian community to the history of soft and hard drugs in Amsterdam! Not only was the tour incredibly informative, but our guide was super engaged and had tons of eating and dining tips (also off-the-beaten-path). If you're looking for a unique experience in Amsterdam, I would highly recommend one of the Alltournative tours!

As a new resident of Amsterdam I was looking for a way of finding out about the city and a means of entertaining my visiting parents for an afternoon. on the Alternative walking tour, I learnt loads about the history, building and canals as well as the Red Light Area, squats, street art and coffee shops. Our guide was great and gave me lots of ideas for places to go out, to eat and drink. My parents loved it too. It seems whatever you are interested in Alltournative know what's going on in the city.
