This place was luckily right next to my hotel. We took a Vespa scooter for half a day and rode round as a couple for 1 day. We had an amazing day and saw loads. Erwin at Hotel Scooters was very helpful and showed us on a map where to go and where to avoid. And was extremely good with... More

Rented a bike and a Cabbie for my husband and daughter. Service was great in all aspects. Easy to rent, good price, great suggestions about easy/non traffic routes and places to go. He even recommended a great area for lunch in our way. Bikes were perfectly well maintained, locks, all worked fine! Would rent again in a minute!

He will sort you out with amazing bikes. People kept stopping me asking where I rent it. 15Euro and the nike is yours for 24 hours. It comes with 2 locks also which reduces your chance to get it stolen (btw, people in Amsterdam don't tend to steal bike anyway). I will definitely come back there to rent a bike... More

Just for some hours my boyfriend and I wanted 2 bikes, and the most of the places asked us for the double of money or a high deposit. Edwin just asked us for our plans and gave us a suitable offer, without deposit, and some nice advices about where to go and what to see. The bikes were in a... More

Just visiting with two friends for a few days. Two guys were running the place and we're very helpful. A girl right before us crashed the bike and they were very reasonable with repair costs; much cheaper than in the states. Highly recommended from me.

We decided to rent a bike for the day and this rental place was very close to our hotel. Edwin was great and took care of all our needs. The bikes were like new and very well maintained. I would highly recommend it.

We were in Amsterdam for two days and went here both. The scooter was a lot of fun to tool around Amsterdam on and was very reasonably priced. Day two we rented bikes which worked very well and were also very reasonably priced. The people that worked there were great and very friendly. I would definitely recommend going there.

A few years ago, my wife and I lived in Amsterdam and had a lot of visitors in the weekends. We always rented bikes, mostly to take trips on the countryside, to places like Durgerdam and Holyslot. After a while we discovered Hotel Scooters. New bikes, ok prices, prima service and good location. In april we took a trip to... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
