Meant to get to this review for a while and got busy! Summer of 2019 Rebecca assisted my family including children aged 12 and 10 to arrange a week long self-guided bike tour. Rebecca is amazing really, she patiently worked with us to develop the daily itinerary which included 5 riding days with 2 rest days interspersed to allow foot exploration in two of the cities we stopped in. Our rides averaged 35-40 km per day, and without a doubt the paths Rebecca "led" us along via the GPS track were really enjoyable. We felt like our experience was off the beaten track and a terrific way to experience the country and it's people. The accommodations she arranged for us were good and allowed easy access to the towns we visited. Meetings to start up and then drop off at the end were easy, and she even assisted us with a transfer to a remote hotel outside of Amsterdam afterwards. If there's one thing i might try do differently it would be to secure bikes designed more for touring. We were provided city cruisers which are great for that or a day trip, but made a few of us a bit sore for the week of longer rides. Again, an amazing experience and we want to do it again - thank you Rebecca!

I reached out to Rebecca with no real idea of where to go or what sites to see, and she managed all of it for us! I told her we wanted an epic bike trip, and she delivered! The towns we biked through were all beautiful, the bike paths were surrounded by gorgeous scenery, and everywhere we stayed was cozy and welcoming. I would highly recommend biking around Amsterdam if you are a biker (or not) and having Rebecca plan your trip for you!

While my partner and I booked a group cycling tour from Amsterdam to the tulip fields, we were fortunate to have no others with us, so we had a private tour with Rebecca! Having said that, I’m sure if we were with others, Rebecca would have been just as awesome. She’s a super keen cyclist, having spent two tears riding from Amsterdam to New Zealand via Asia. She’s also passionate and knowledgeable about the flower industry of The Netherlands, and we learned so much from her.

Wheely Dutch Bike Tours owns their own bikes and they are high quality. Your bike is custom-sized for you. Your guide (typically Rebecca) will ensure you know the road rules, the way to operate the bike, and the etiquette around the fields. She’ll take you around the myriad paths of the area, and she seems to have an instinct for the fields that may have “just bloomed overnight”. I should say at this point that touring the tulip, buttercup and hyacinth fields is a bit of a gamble, as fields blossom one day, or may be “topped” for the bulbs the next.

Anyway, to cut this long story short, we absolutely loved our bike tour with Rebecca from Wheely Dutch Bike Tours and wholeheartedly recommend the company if you are looking for a real feel of the Netherlands. We understand the tours extend well beyond the flower fields and Rebecca can plan any kind of cycling holiday, or long or short tour to suit your own needs.

Just do it!! You won’t be disappointed.

This was by far the BEST way to explore Amsterdam. My husband is an avid cycler but I tend to stick to leisure jaunts. When we read about Rebecca’s tour, we knew we had to look into it. Emailing back and forth allowed our needs/wants to be detailed and Rebecca orchestrated an itinerary that was custom made and perfect for us. Starting out in the city behind Rebecca was a wonderful way to acclimate to the traffic. She was extremely reassuring, thorough, and safe. Exploring the various nearby towns was exactly what we wanted. We were able to learn about the people/customs/ history etc from an insider whose wealth of knowledge was invaluable. Stopping for lunch at Anna Hein’s was the perfect way to break up the day. Passing sheep, seeing historic buildings, windmills etc while having Rebecca’s commentary made the ride memorable. Her tips for the remainder of our trip were appreciated as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would recommend Rebecca’s tour to anyone and everyone wanting to learn about the Dutch ways while riding safe, well maintained bikes. Rebecca’s warmth and sincerity were like "powdered sugar on the pancake” such a pleasure!

If you're looking for a bike trip where everything is taken care of ( aside from the riding itself :) , look no further! Rebecca, organized a 4 day bike trip for our family of 4. We visited amazing cities, toured the country side and had wonderful hotels to sleep in at the end of the day. The GPS worked perfectly and her information about where to eat and what to do was perfection! Highly recommend Wheely Dutch Bike Tours and Rebecca!

Such a great tour. We are so happy we did the bike tour with Rebecca. It was the highlight of our entire trip. The flowers are beautiful, interesting information, the trails are fun and you even get to see a lot of the architecture and cute homes along the way. A great day and highly recommended!

We took a private version of the pancake tour with Rebecca with our two teenage children. We were immediately impressed with the bikes as you didn't have to pedal to switch gears and the brakes could be squeezed hard without fearing a wheelie or going over the handlebars. The ride out to the pancake house was really scenic following the Amstel and then going through a beautiful forest. The pancake house is on a farm which is really picturesque.

Rebecca is a great tour guide, extremely friendly and easy to get along with. She had all the historical information you would expect, but she also talks about the modern city and what it is like to live there now and how it is rapidly changing.

If we had more time in Amsterdam we would definitely have done another tour.

We had the most wonderful time on our bike tour with Wheely Dutch Bike Tours! We visited Amsterdam in late April and had the opportunity to do the day tour through the tulips! This was a bucket list item for me and it didn't disappoint! What an amazing tour! The ride was approximately 15 miles, the weather was great, and Rebecca was fabulous! I highly recommend it!

We (2 adults and young teenager) really enjoyed our 'Pancake Countryside Tour' with Rebecca.
Her instructions for the meeting point were good, and 7 speed bikes in good condition. She spent time making sure they fitted us (different to the bikes we have in Australia) and explained the road rules.
Riding through Amsterdam was a little challenging but so enjoyable, particularly in the quieter streets along pretty canals.
Once we got a few km out of town it was easy and pretty.
The pancake restaurant was great.
The only suggestions to Rebecca are that the info button about this tour on your website doesn't connect, and just a little confusion over whether to take lunch or not.

Rebecca took my wife and I and another foursome on a delightful day off bike riding, and flower field viewing. We left Centaal Station at 9am by train to journey thirty minutes outside Amsterdam, and to fetch our bikes. We spent the next 4-5 hours biking, laughing, enjoying the amazing fields, and also received a small amount of education about flowers and bulbs. The pace was relaxed and pleasant, and bike riding was easy for a mid-range fitness level. Bikes were left at Holtgomm so no need to bring them on the over busy train. We stopped at the famous Keukenhof, but must say that this was NOT the day's highlight, because simply seeing the countryside was more rewarding (but it was still unique). Rebecca was fun and informative and jolly. Fantastic day trip, and highly recommended!!
