Best value for bike hire I could find in the city. Great location, a short walk from Centraal Train Station. Friendly and helpful staff. Bike came with a rear wheel clamp and chain lock included in the price. Good quality bike with adjustable seat and bell too.
€14 for 24 hours. Great value. Really recommend.

I would 100% recommend this bike rental shop to anyone visiting Amsterdam . The guy that helped us, Miguel went above and beyond to help us get our awesome e-bikes just before closing time. We arrived about five minutes before they closed and he stayed late to help us get our bikes because we were desperate to get them the same day. We really appreciate his level of customer service and kindness.

Great bikes for a day or two’s hire to get around the city. They do let you get around and see things so much quicker than on foot. They’re good fun to ride too, with the advantage of freedom for a low cost. Miguel was great to deal with and very helpful, good fun to chat too as well. Great ambassador for the company. Thank you, we’ll be back.

I rented a touring bike from discount bike rental for 14 days at the end of May into the start of June. It would have been a fine bike for 1-2 day in the city of Amsterdam since you can come back to the shop for repairs. However, it was terrible for what I was trying to do (70km a day fully loaded). Its a heavy bike and shifting gears is clunky. I got a flat about half way in which is pretty normal for a tour that long, when i pulled out the tube to replace it, the tube was completely folded over on itself, much too big for the bike. The fact that they told me with a straight face that this bike could hold up is crazy. The brakes were EXTREMELY loud and the bike felt like it was going to fall apart underneath me. If you are looking to tour the Netherlands I recommend renting from Bike City in Amsterdam. My friend rented from their and had a MUCH easier time.

This is an entirely accurate description of everything that happened when two black guys went to rent a bike at this place.
I found this bike rental online and while I almost booked online, I decided to walk in to have a chat and to see if I could pick up a bike for my friend and I since we were nearby.
We met a guy at the store whose attitude first came across as odd. He said there were no bikes available and that we needed to check back by 4pm. Meanwhile, I had just checked online and there were bikes available. So, we simply booked online and returned 10 minutes later to pick up the bikes. The same guy started ranting about how we did not listen to his advice to check back in store at 4pm and that we were being disrespectful by going to book online! He kept going on and on for a few minutes while we both stood there in shock! Next, he said one of our bookings was for 2pm when we both booked for 1pm. We showed him our bookings and he kept going on and on about how he now has to prepare other bikes for other people. We couldn’t believe our eyes and ears! When asked why there were bikes available online when he claimed there were none, he asked me to take it up with his “boss”. He eventually reluctantly gave us the 2 bikes ordered after calling his “boss”.
Absolutely shocking and distasteful! I wonder if they treat all customers this way or maybe he felt that was the kind of treatment we deserved?

Perfect experience! The man was really nice and friendly! He prepared our bikes and everything was nice. The bikes were really good and we had a great time. The prices are really interesting! I recommend Discount Bike Rental, do not hesitate! I came with two friends of mine. Thanks for this experience, I hope I will come back for my next trip!

Incredible experience! Kimo was very friendly and helpful. He prepared our bikes, customized them based on our needs (e.g. added baskets), and provided several recommendations on where to bike to based on our interests. Highly recommend Discount Bike Rental to anyone in Amsterdam!

Booked online prior to arriving. The cheapest place I found. Straight forward booking. On arrival to collect bikes, greeted by a friendly female who assisted us and give us an introduction. The bikes were easy to use, locks and all. Myself and partner had the bikes for 3 days. Bikes were easily returned. Convenient, simple and would highly recommend!

We tried several bike rental stores and this was by far best. The bikes were great, clean and in very good condition. Everything worked. Perfect location as well and both employees were very polite, nice and helpfull. If I'm ever back in Amsterdam, this is where I'm getting my bike.

Everyone knows that to ride a bike in Amsterdam is the next level of knowing the city. I’ve chosen this rental and had a very good experience. Bicycles aren’t broken, clean and really good. It’s easy to find and very cheap. The good thing is also their central location.

It depends on the type of Bike and If you want a Theft Insurance.
(Hand Brake Bike for example is 9,50€ until 6pm.)
