Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

'Het Huis aan de Drie Grachten' (House On The Three Canals) is a double canal house in Renaissance style from the 17th-century. The building is in fact faces three different Amsterdam canals. This house is unique because it has three facade with stepped gable crown each of the three facades. It has a status as 'Rijksmonument' (National Monument). It used to be a publishing house of periodical journal until 2005. You can't go inside so it is only seeing the house from outside

Built in the 17th century, this is the only house in amsterdam, that faces three canals, hence its name. Located along Oudezijds Voorburgwal, Grimburgwal and Oudezijds Achterburgwal. Not really a stand alone attraction, however good to see during a walk along the canals.

We spotted this on TripAdvisor, and as my wife and I love seeking out some of the more unusual sights and things on offer, we set out to find this house.
It is a 17th century building, and the only house in Amsterdam which has a canal along three sides.
The house is private, therefore it is not possible to see inside it.
Nonetheless, glad we put in the effort to find it as we enjoyed the short visit and the surroundings.

This house shows the value of land in the city of Amsterdam when it was built. Full use of all the land available is what has produced this house with three prospects. I would not specifically go here, but eventually you will pass it in your travels around the city. One minute and you've seen it.
