The Prostitution Information Center (PIC) organizes walking tours through the famous Red Light District in Amsterdam about prostitution and the neighborhood, from the perspective of the sex worker. The goal of the PIC is to have an open debate about prostitution and teach people to respect prostitutes. Besides our walking tours through the neighborhood the PIC also gives lectures about prostitution. You can join Red Light Walking Tour every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 17.00. No reservation required. The tour is in English and lasts about 1,5 hour and costs 17,50 per person.

Great tour!!! So happy to have found this place, next to the beautiful Old Churcb! Friendly staff who answered my questions and advised me to take the tour, which was a real eyeopener after a bad experience with Sandeman tours.

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the

historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
