Rembrandt park is a park for every season actually. But as this summer was very hot I always tried to cycle through this park to go home. The big trees made you very comfortable no matter you have a picnic or just passing through.

We walked through this park on a number of occasions during our week-long stay in Amsterdam, as our hotel was very close to it. We enjoyed our walks there, as we preferred to go through this park on our way to see the various city sights. It is quite a large park, full of greenery, trees, grass, some plants, and picnic spots. There is at least one children's playground, that we came across, and quite a few people either walk or jog there, or ride their bikes, or exercise and train. One interesting feature is the huge "statue", or actually two identical "statues", of a dog overlooking the motorway.

Almost all of the reviewers wrote about Rembrandtplein (square) in the middle of Amsterdam. Rembrandtpark is a quite big park in the west part of Amsterdam, next to the highway A10, surrounded by flats, houses and some hotels. Ramada hotel is just outside the park. In the park, there is no clubs, restaurants, cafes at all, but many trees, birds, bridges and some statues. There is a petting zoo with play ground, also a place 'Het Landje' where the children can do activities such as building things (carpentry), pony riding etc. People come to the park for walking, letting the dog out, jogging, roll skatting or cycling. In the autumn when the trees change colour, it's beautiful. I'm not really sure if tourists would come to this park as it's far from the city centre. But the tram 13 will take you from central station to this park, get off at 'Admiraal Helfrichstraat'. You will see a sport centre, behind this sport centre you will find a high building (Ramada hotel) and the park is just in front of the hotel.

It is funny that people confuse this park with the Rembrandt square. Where Rembrandt square is extremely busy and full of tourists Rembrandt park is an oasis of quiet.
It is a large park. Probably one of the largests of Amsterdam. In summer it is a good place to chill out and relax. Having a picknick or a bbq.
The pictures shown are of Rembrandt square. Also the marker on the map is a bit off. Scroll to the left (west) and you will find the large Rembrandt park.

Really nice park to walk around during morning and evening. I'm here during June and lots of sunshine, love it. You can see people around with their friend, family and dogs. Relax and chill.

Visited here on last day, nice for historical photos of sculptures... Wasn't much choice with the markets to be honest, all food/drinks or jewellery...

I confused the park with the square and wandered around for awhile looking for Rembrandt's statue. That being said it was a really beautiful area. Great for a walk or a joke ride

A large park that contains lots of paths all across it allowing you explore so much. Very nice atmosphere on a sunny day, especially during the weekend. Depending on the weather, you might find families out walking or groups of friends hanging out or people walking their dogs. Great spot to sit in and watch the world go by

Remebrandtpark loses out to the success and fame of Vondelpark. But don’t over look it. It’s a real beauty with winding paths leading south towards Nieew Meer - perfect for the long Sunday run. Or an evening back ride. There seems to be a bit of development work going on. Knowing the Dutch it’ll be improving something that’s already good.
