Small park in an old Amsterdam neighborhood named after Sam Sarphati a dynamic 19th century citizen who made an outstanding contribution (social welfare, public health) to the city. A small monument with his bust is in the middle of the park. Nice to have a...More

Seeing green parrots brought me into the park. they seem to live there with pigeons and jackdaws. Then found it quiet peaceful, especially nice to not be dodging bikes. What a relief. We are staying in the neighborhood and love this little park for a...More

Amsterdam does parks well. This one is small but it's one of my favorites. Plenty of grass for picnics and sunbathing. Lot's of water and small side paths. And it even has a simple outdoor "gym", perfect for those who are traveling and looking to...More

Visited this park when there was so much green in the eyes, really loved it this period. You can buy some local food from the flee market Albert Cuypmarkt and have a nice picnic time in the park.
