Slick entry procedures, individual lockers, and subtle but present security made for a great stormzy concert. Really clean and good selection of drinks at the bar too

I’ve been to the AFAS venue two times already. Once in March 2019 and the last time on January 21st. I must say I loved the fact that the venue isn’t too big, giving a warmer and more intimate feeling if you will. I was in front of the stage both times and absolutely loved it!
Also, the sound quality is great!

Really pleasant venue. Clean, plenty of services, like refreshments, bathrooms. Went to an Aha concert and sound and visuals were amazing. Lovely bars and eateries outside too. Well organised in terms of access. Plenty of trains and buses running from Central Amsterdam so no worries about getting in or out. A pleasure to attend an event here.

As im 50 next year, why not get about to these TOP venues and see the bands that count. Fitst of all the AFAS is an amazing venue. You can have a tipple while watching the gig. UB40 Were just as I remembered them at 13. All the classics and me tryin to wiggle. But with my bad chest, it was great to see all dancing 🕺 and enjoying themselves, my age too.

Great gig

Visited for Angerfist Diabolic Dice. In a great location. Only 2 minutes walk from Bijlmer Arena Station. VIP entrance was extremely quick and the decks were great with a bar right beside you. Lockers were a bit pricey. Food choices were a little limited. Sound was quite good!

The logistics are good- quite close to the city, it was quick entrance. The main downside is the acoustics- only from speakers and not all around. Great show!!

We've been here several times for concerts and this time we attended the reunion concert of American Rockabillyband 'Stray Cats'. After 10 years, the guitarist-singer Brian Setzer, bassist Lee Rocker and drummer Slim Jim Phantom came together and gave a concert in AFAS Live. It was good show and also good sound. The location of AFAS Live is easy to find. From the Amsterdam Central station take the metro number 54 and stop at Bijlmer Station. There is a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood so you can have diner before going to the concert. The only minus point is not so many women restrooms. It was always in a long queue

Went there to see RIcky Gervaise - the performance was absolutely amazing!
Regarding AFAS Live, I have to say, it is extremely easy to get there, there are many options to eat nearby.
What impressed me the most, though, was how organized the bars and restaurants were inside AFAS Live. You will not need to stay long in line for anything - drinks, food or toilet. This was a huge plus IMHO.
Really worth a visit!!

I visited with friends to see the 'Stray Cats', which for those who are not familiar, is a three piece rockabilly band. The venue's capacity is 6,000 which is smaller than most arenas and therefore, in my opinion, a better venue because even at the back you can still see the stage well. The majority of space was for standing (or dancing if you could find enough space) but there is the option of seating if you prefer. It's not allocated so if you are a large group and you want to sit together, I would recommend arriving a little early.

The sound was spot on.

There is ample parking nearby and the venue was easy to find (right next to the Ajax stadium).
