Nice little place but one of the staff was really unfriendly tall girl back hair. Went up to the counter there was a single file que of 3 people but there was 2 menus on the counter so I went to have a look what was on there and she got really rude and sarcastic so i got my stuff and me and my wife left. Would not go back there while she is there. Rest of the staff were friendly for what I seen while I was there.

This is one of those must do coffee shop experiences in Amsterdam. Definitely worth checking out and savouring the history of the place. It’s not an everyday experience as it can be one of the tourists favourites so quite busy, well worth visiting, hopefully the still have the C5! 😉

Super relaxed atmosphere, only enhanced by the really friendly and warm staff - especially Josie (sp?) who really made me feel welcome. Favourite spot by far. And the coffee is delightful.

Walked 20 minutes to get here after reading a review online that it was good. Sat down made ourselves comfortable before going to place our order. Wanted some advice on what kind of weed to have and the guy was so so rude, the short guy with peircings in his face. He told us If we wanted to laugh we should go to the cinema as he sells drugs not feelings. I said can he just offer some advice on what weed would be best and he just looked at me and said it’s like asking what drink would be best ... I said we’d go elsewhere and he shouted ‘good that’s what I wanted’. The strangest experience ever and not a good representation of Amsterdam.

This was our first time going to a coffee shop. Crowded and no space to sit as a larger group. The man was nice but the woman was very rude, abruptly told us to order a coffee or leave when we hadn’t been told that was a requirement. Then told coldly we were in the wrong space and had to move. We were by a door but had made an effort not to block anything and there were literally no other seats available. Made us feel very unwelcome.

Cool, chill spot! We had a nice time sitting at the bar. The bartender was absolutely adorable and super friendly. She made awesome milkshakes and we had two prerolled joints. This was the perfect pitstop while walking around and enjoying the city.

Along with Abraxas perhaps, this is one of the coffee shops people seem to hear about and gravitate to on an Amsterdam visit, and you can see why. A good selection of goods and drinks… plus you can smoke sat at the bar (not tobacco of course!) which still feels a bit of a novelty in Europe since most places banned smoking.

Used to be one of the best coffee shops in town but not anymore. We were a group of 7 planning to chill for 1-2 hours in a nice atmosphere and spend A LOT of cash in drinks, food and top of the list hash and weed. When we got in, there were no available tables, so for a moment some of us went to order drinks at the bar, others went to buy smoke and others just stood there for 2 minutes thinking what to do already stonned and for some, the 1st time inside a coffee shop. Suddenly, the lady at the bar starts shouting at some of us aggressively, saying that we needed to order drinks and that she is going to teach us some Dutch hospitality (she was really aggressive) when that was exactly our intention. Then she starting arguing with one of us for no real reason, like picking a fight, so we just decided to leave and spend all our money somewhere else. In conclusion, do not ruin your wonderful trip to Amsterdam and go anywhere else.

This place used to be my favourite coffee shop in Amsterdam as it had a great chilled out friendly vibe. THIS IS NO LONGER THE CASE.
No idea what has happened to this place but we came in here to grab a quick drink and a little snack and chill, whilst doing so we stopped to have a look at the weed and hash on the menu. Ok we were probably taking a bit longer to make a decision on what to buy than we normally would as we were slightly stoned to say the least but that did not warrant the manner in which the female member of staff spoke to us. First of all she ignored us when we asked for a menu and when she finally have us one she just shoved it towards us. Then when we dared ask her a question we were met with a rude "can't be bothered" attitude. Obviously this put us off looking at the menu further so we decided to get a drink, again we asked for a menu to which another female member of staff ignored us and simply pointed at another guy looking at a menu. My partner then said "sorry is that the only menu you have?" And she rolled her eyes like a silly teenager and threw a menu at us. At this point we threw it back and walked out as we didn't want it to ruin our vibe.
So shocked and disappointed at this behaviour from the staff did not expect this from this coffee shop as both my partner and I have been here many times before and never experienced this. It's a real shame as we used to really big this place up but definitely wouldn't recommend with the current staff working there.

Dark hair lady waitress was really bad tempered and poor customer services skilled. She shouted at us and threw money at me and mocked us. She ruined our day, why can anybody let that kind of people to work there and terrorise their customers. Place was really crowded too.

I'm not really sure what you mean by a clean menu.
They do offer drinks ( no alcohol), snacks and such.
If your referring to edibles, you should be able to get cake.
If your not a smoker, try a little, wait an hour then go from there.
If you don't partake, don't waste your time going unless it's to just be a companion for someone else who enjoys life and wants to give it a try.
