This was a very interesting place. Lots of good foods and fresh squeezed juices to enjoy. Great prices on many different unique items. I got a real feel for the culture and enjoyed several hours shopping, eating and enjoying some time walking around soaking up...More

The market itself is quite good and worth seeing. There are a lot of shops and variety. You won't be able to find marketplaces like that very often in the Netherlands. Around the marketplace, there is De Pijp. Which is one of the prettiest neighbourhoods...More

The array of goods and foods sold at this market is amazing. I like wandering it for the variety and to sample new or different foods.

This market is well known for the variety of stalls. From flower stalls to cloth and haberdashery stalls and also veg, fruit and fish stalls are here too. I always do to Jan de Kleinvakman, de Kniphal and de Boerenbonthal for getting nice cloths for...More

Combination of flea market, cheap souvenirs and clothes, household items Plus some fine food stalls. You could have a strolling lunch, with cheese, fish, fries, fruit etc along the way. A chance to see real people in the area outside the central canal zone.

A nice market with a mix of your average market stalls and a fresh stroop waffle stall and a traditional Dutch raw herring stall. It is a long market with shops and cafes either side so don't forget to look in the shops too as...More

It is a normal market with fruits, cheese, vegetables. It is located in the Pijp region which is nice and has some nice restaurants. There are a lot of people, but there is nothing special about this market in particular.

This is more of a flea and cheap trinket market than anything else. There is some fresh fish which was nice to see. Some street food vendors as well.

Dutch flowers and a variety of dutch food with other usual market goods give this place a nice feeling while walking along the small shops. Lot of tourists, but OK and worth for a short visit.

De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag

many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic
thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in
search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly
half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners
and a good number of them are students. Here you'll

Don't remember seeing any at the Albert Cuyp market. There is quite a good selection at the flower market (bloemenmarkt) at singel street. Don't be tempted to buy at the first place you see. It doesn't take long to go... More
