A busy canal where the famous flower market is floating at. It is lined with charmingly decorated boat houses. Noteworthy attractions nearby are the narrowest house, Lutheran churches, and the library of the University of Amsterdam to name a new. Enjoyable walk, even to sit...More

Beautiful canal with mixture of bars, museums and windows. Great to watch world go by and people watch. Boat trips go here too.

This is one of the busier areas of the canal and, to me, it lacks the charm of some of the quieter backwaters.

Can be very crowded and can get a bit silly with tourists but the smell of cut flowers is lovely. 10 tulip bulbs for 3 euros! Hope they come up as it will be a fond memory

Beautiful canals-felt like we were stepping back in time-great historic buildingserhsps the most scenic area in Amsterdam

Magnificient street on the canal in the city center, enriched by the many spots to stop by and the elegant profile of the characteristic Dutch houses.

We booked a canal cruise for the whole family and really enjoyed the fantastic view over the famous canal houses. Highly recommended!
