Parallel to and next to the Single canal is the Herrengracht (Gentleman's Canal). It is the second major canal that encircles the central area of the city. Good photo shot location. Make sure you include the bicycles on the bridge crossing the canal to provide...More

This is a spot you HAVE to visit when visiting Amsterdam. Nothing much around but it's really romantic and looks great on pictures. We rented a bike for the whole day and it was an easy ride all around the city

We stayed at Ambassade Hotel and had a full view of this canal. Even if you don't stay right at the canal, be sure to walk along it....to see its area shops and cafes.

When you hit the streets in Amsterdam you have to make sure to pick your canals right. This version is very suitable as it has great small coffee shops (with coffee) and small boutique shops in the side streets.

Had a wonderful experience going around the city. Go around with a bike or just merely walk would be a wonderful thing to do in AMS.

The canal is one of the most beautiful canals and major one in Amsterdam, as a tourist you must passing by, take the canal cruise or have a pic from the bridge.

Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically
significant as it is perennially popular. Whether
you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast,
shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the
Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the
Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get
lost in a moody meander and a key component to any
sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws
