The Segway tour led by Peter was a great experience. A wonderful couple of hours floating effortlessly around Amsterdam, seeing all the main sights and getting a running commentary from Peter. We felt safe all the time and would highly recommend as a brilliant way to see Amsterdam. Worth every penny!

This tour is a fun way to see the sights of Amsterdam. We had never been on a Segway before and were a little hesitant, but quickly became comfortable thanks to our expert guide, Robin. The tour includes all the important highlights of the city with plenty of photo stops. Our guide provided in-depth information about each area through a headset, making it easy to hear. We felt completely safe despite the traffic and busy areas we traveled through….Robin did a wonderful job looking after us!

This is the second time we've 'segwayed' in Europe and we think it's
a great way to see a city in a relatively short space of time, as well as being great fun.
Our guide Robin and his helper Rebecca made us feel welcome and safe. The traffic in Amsterdam is pretty horrendous with cars, buses, trams, mopeds and thousands of bicycles. However this company provides earpieces which connect you to your guide and means that you obtain information without having to stop every five minutes (although there are pauses throughout the tour and one half way through on 'Skinny Bridge' to get off and rest your legs).
We learned things on this tour which we had not picked up on both the bus and canal boat tours including the fact that the Nazi headquarters were just around the corner to the house where Anne Frank was hidden.
We had photographs and videos taken throughout the tour by Rebecca which were later e mailed to us. My husband was not keen on this but later could not wait to see the results! Three in our party were over 60 including my brother who takes little exercise. It was the most I'd seen him smile in two weeks! This is fun.Go for it, you won't regret it.

I have taken segway tours before and never had to wear a big stupid blue bib with an advertisement on it. I understand segways are a bit nerdy to begin with and that's ok, but that blue goofy vest was just too much. A guy in the red light district literally almost fell out of his chair he was laughing so hard at our little parade of nerds. I guess listening to a chorus of laughter for 2 hours at my expense was not a particularly enjoyable experience.

Before we decided to go to Amsterdam, we did a little research to see what could be worth checking out. We wanted to do something that allowed us to see the whole city in one trip. And that's what lead us to Segway City Tours Amsterdam! When we arrived at the location, we were greeted by our tour guide of the day, Robin, which was quite the character. Very friendly and entertaining! This wasn't a typical tour where you get boring facts about the city, but you get useful tips, fun facts and recommendations, such as which areas to go to, where to eat etc. At the end of the tour, you felt like you knew all corners of Amsterdam. It was definitely fun to ride the segway in such a busy city, with bicycles, people and cars everywhere. We had lots of fun and laughter, and if you want the complete tour of Amsterdam, this is the best way to do it!

Had a fantastic 2 hour tour of Amsterdam. It was not dangerous at all, you just had to be careful and alert. Peter and Emilio were brilliant and the audio commentary was great and made it even more enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend it as a great way to see the city.

This tour was one of the highlights of our two-week, four-country trip of a lifetime. The segways were so much fun, and the tour guide was very fun and funny. Comprehensive tour of the city with interesting facts along the way, definitely recommend!

After discovering Amsterdam in a boat along the canals the day before it was a time to do it on the road with Segway City Tours Amsterdam. We were greeted by Peter and Kenny, very cheerful guys and welcoming. After putting the gear on (helmet, west and earphone) we started practicing our skills on the Segway in a closed area. I myself had driven one before so there was no problem but it is like riding a bicycle just takes a few minutes and then you get a hang of it. So we headed out into the busy city in a well organized line listening to the guide telling stories both conventional and unconventional.
The tour took two hours and we saw museums, churches and other monuments. We also where told very interesting story about architecture and also stories about WWII in Amsterdam.
We had great fun and I think this is a great way to travel in a busy capital.

We just did a fun tour with Segway City Tours Amsterdam on 12 September with fantastic Robin as our guide. My friend and I were lucky to be just the two of us on this tour. First we spent about 10 minutes practising how to use the segway in a small private school area then we went out on the tour. I recommend this tour more than another one we saw as we used ear mics to listen to Robin's interesting commentary while still segwaying rather than stopping to listen to your tour guide and then moving on and then stopping again. So this enables you to spend the maximum best use of your time actually using the segway which is what you're ultimately paying the money for! Another useful point about the ear mics and our very efficient, safety conscious guide Robin - he was also able to give us safety instructions through the mic - like be careful of the kerb, we don't have very long to cross the road when it's green for us, let's pull over for a bit to let this car pass us - all useful info when you're segwaying which you would NOT hear if you didn't have an ear mic!! We saw many places in 2 hours. Robin took many pics of us and has sent me a link to download them. He is full of information and is happy any time to answer our questions. We fully recommend this tour because of the safety aspect, excellent informative guide Robin and the advantages of having an ear mic. Thanks. Anita and Ello.

We recently took part in a Segway tour whilst on a lads holiday. I've been to Amsterdam a number of times, but have never experienced it in such a fun way. Our tour guide Robin was amazing. He was extremely funny and packed the tour full of interesting facts and stories. Probably 2 of the best hours I've spent in Amsterdam.
