I came here to see Suede, both the band and the venue were outstanding. The acoustics were spot on and I felt the setting was just perfect. I was a little annoyed at having to pay an extra €3.50 for a "membership" but I didn't...More

Aretha clone at a classic Rock venue. Who didn’t play there? Amazing feel of the history of the place. A Cathedral of Rock. Three storey Cathedral good enough to drop a few prayers to the Gods of Rock n Roll. But boy do they ever...More

Great location to see a band. Thanks for the ear plugs. However I had to pay an extra 3.50 euros to become a member. Not a problem as the place was fantastic. But you must have wider doors for people leaving at the end. I...More

We were lucky to catch a Bluegrass festival early September. We discovered The Ben Miller and Tami Neilson. tickets were about $20 and beers around $4. We had a great time. Their selection of music is SOLID.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
