I had a lovely time at the improv class. I was scared at first but half way through I completely forgot what I was doing and just had a blast. The group was amazing and the only negative side of this thing was that im...More
We had a great night at the Coqtale magic Mike show, There were a lot of Hen parties. This event was really well organised. The dancers were all good and very "athletic". I didn't find it sleazy but more fun and a great laugh to...More
Attended a Boom Chicago show in Amsterdam last month. It was fantastic! The talented performers showed impressive improv skills. Very very funny. Music and merriment. I will return for a new show every time we visit Amsterdam. Boom Chicago is my go-to for comedy. Thank...More
We are huge fans of any comedy and this didn’t disappoint. We were upstairs in boom Chicago in the English stand up comedy show. Mostly Dutch people in the audience, was were the only tourists I think. Good show.. drinks were very reasonable.
Enough humour to keep a smile on my face but the last performance we saw was not haha funny. When Boom was still on the location Leidseplein it was hilarious.
The big minus is the cheap chairs that are packed way too tight to fit...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

They offer dinner options on some nights of the week. As far as I know they have finger food and desserts available always. You can combine the dinner with the earlier show. While their website lists a minimum number of people, in my own experience that isn't a universal rule and you're best off e-mailing email@example.com (or calling them) for more information.
