    Average stadium, needs sound upgrade
Went to see Coldplay. A good size stadium, but sound was average, needs upgrading. I was shocked at the end of the show, when I asked for water and the bar charged me 4 euros for tap water. Need to provide small cups with a free water tap

    Great tour
Had to change our booking twice with minimal fuss. Opted for the audio tour which we couldn’t get to work. Didn’t take away from the experience as we did it at our own pace and spent plenty time doing so. Enjoyed the experience

Enjoyed the guided tour, disappointed with the VR
Our family of 4 enjoyed the 75 minute Guided Full Experience Tour. Our tour guide was friendly and informative and in each area we visited, we had plenty of time for self-exploration and picture taking. The VR experience part was disappointing, as you were given a cardboard box to put your cell phone in (note that a larger phone and/or a bulky case may not fit), and this was not really part of the tour itself anyway. You then had to carry this around with you. We were told that the VR could be done from home, and we did try it 2 weeks later, but the picture orientation was opposite the cardboard box orientation – just did not work well. We did visit the arena during summer concert season, so could not see the pitch as it was covered with metal plates. After the guided part of the tour, you can explore the trophy room/museum. The gift shop had a wide variety of items. Easy to get to by metro train from Amsterdam Centraal Station – no connections and entrance was a five-minute walk from station. There are several bars, stores, restaurants and a movie theater in the area between the train station and stadium.

    Great Football Arena
A great experience and a fabulous arena. Well organized venue and a great (noisy) crowd made this a must do football stadium visit. Pricey buying tickets from home(UK), but still worth it.

    Brilliant experience
From the time we entered to when we left it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful - when we went around we did the self tour however in every area there was someone to tell you about the room you were in . One particular lad, who was in the away dressing room was spectacular!! he and my husband could have talked football forever, he even caught up with us to give us more information about the museum. You are not rushed - you go at your own pace and even if you are not a football fan it was good experience. Reasonably priced compared to other clubs we have been to- lots to see

Who knew a football stadium visit could be such good fun.
My 16 year old son and I visited. We booked a guided tour. Our tour guide was brilliant. He had phenomenal knowledge of football, and had incredible stories. It was great to hear a loyal Ajax fan getting his dream job, and his passion shone through I know little about football and still really enjoyed myself. The shop is expensive as you would expect but you do get 10% from going on the tour.

    Stadium Tour
Went on the stadium tour during the summer whilst in Amsterdam. Stadium is very easy to get to via public transport and train station is right outside the stadium. Tour guide was very knowledgeable with some great information about Ajax and the stadium. Answered any questions too. Only disappointment on the tour was not being able to see the pitch as it was covered up for a concert but I knew about this in advance. Club shop is also very good and because we booked tickets in advance they gave a discount on items bought in the shop.

    VIP tour
VIP tour was nice. Tour guide spoke in English, answered questions, took photographs at different stages of the tour. Enjoyable experience even for non-football fans. Pleasant staff.

    Quicker than expected
Smaller than expected so didn't take long...bar on site was nice! Staff very knowledgeable, we didn't book a guided tour but still made time to talk to us. 10% discount in shop with ticket doesn't mean much as so much on sale and discount not available with sale goods

The tour was well organised and frequent - completely worth the price you pay for the tour. It is also easy to find from the train/metro.

Firstly you are given a tour landyard (which you can keep and also has 10% discount in the fan shop. You then have a photo in front of a green screen which is a strange experience as the lady did not tell us what we were posing for so turned out to be a bit of an awkward photo!

The tour guides which are in every room if you have any questions or more to find out are very knowledgeable - not just about the stadium but football in general which my partner loved as he could discuss big games and generally chat about football as well as the specifics of the stadium.

Overall, the tour can be quite short as after the away changing rooms, stadium and tunnel the tour i pretty much self explanatory - dependent on how long you would like to walk around and chat to the tour guides. In comparison to other stadiums it may be nice to have a cafe or little stop to enjoy surroundings, pictures or stadium?

I attended a match at the Johan Cruyff Arena last Wednesday, against Spakenburg in the KNVB(Dutch] cup. The stadium is easily reached on the line 54 metro, with the stop being a few minutes walk away, and is a must visit for any football fan. The pre match light show built the atmosphere up to the max and our seats in the upper tier on the half way line provided a perfect view of the Ajax passing machine, as they cruised to a 7-0 win. All around the Cruyff arena are reminders of the great man and the team’s trophy wins. A couple of things to note though are the facts that the JCA does not allow bags inside and it is a cashless venue

This place is very well organized and the hour tour is totally worth it the €17 entrance fee. The tour is complete and well explained. Even If you are not Ajax fan this place is good to visit.

Parked here and took the Metro and Tram to downtown Amsterdam.
Purchased parking and metro tickets from a machine in the parking complex prior to using the public transport. Ok so far.
On the way OUT later in the day however the vending machine kept indicating that the parking card was canceled and thus we were unable to pay (cashless system). Also the machine at the exit gate did not accept the credit card.
Had to back up, return to the original vending machine start a whole new transaction which then worked. Never saw any attendant anywhere at any time. Obviously did not get the discounted rate advertised, so be forwarned
John Conner where are you when we need you.

The stadium is situated some distance from the center of the city, but for football fans it is worth the detour.
The tour includes seeing the dressing rooms of both teams, the pitch, the press room and other central functions of the place, and in addition to seeing the impressive arena, the tour guides also offer interesting facts about the Ajax history. Highly recommended.

Went to see the Holland V Ireland game. The handling of the away Irish fans was disgraceful. A bottleneck tru security with only 2 people checking fanss entering, further exacerbated by 2 gates for entry. Flags taken from Irish fans who are known for not causing any trouble at games. Pre game fans redirected on a long route to the away section..very poor organisation a dismal experience.

My son is a huge Ajax fan so this trip was long anticipated. The first two parts of the tour (away changing room & players tunnel/ pitch side) are supported by a bi-lingual guide, but from then on it’s self guided. This meant the tour was quite short (around 40 Minutes) but also meant we could spend longer in some areas & less in those we were not as interested in. The club shop is also worth a visit.
