The staff said that you need 2:30 hours to see the zoo and we spend 4hours..you can take a map from the entrance so you can not miss anything

Loved Artis! Arrived around 10.30 and left at 5pm when it closed, with a couple of things left to see. You could get around quicker but we took our time and stopped to see the Pygmy Marmosets enclosure a couple of times! In the morning...More

Very nice park with good collection of animals. Park is very well maintained and good to spend a day. Also with lesser weather conditions as there are many indoors to shelter from rain. If you live in the area (like me) it is adviseble to...More

Although I got a little bit sic after the planetarium experience, the zoo is very worth the visit. There are plenty of animals and insects that can be seen, and one can even interact with some of them. Great experience!

Had such a amazing time at the zoo I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. There were loads of different animals so see, interactive activities for children and it is HUGE! Would definitely go back again!

Very nice zoo, lots of animal spieces but the facilities are not so clean. The aquarium is small and doesn't have large animals but the rest is quite satisfying

Great zoo, plenty of animals with a great variety to see. Zoo can be tricky to navigate as a map is not handed out. You have to use the signs which aren’t too clear. Overall a very good zoo which would be excellent with a...More

Broadly, a very fine zoo. Some exhibits still a little dated, but they are clearly in the process of modernising to meet ethical standards. Animals generally seem very content, some unique species to be seen.

We came for a wander around, it’s a bit of a pain to get to if transport is affected. The zoo is nice and has some good exhibits, I found it lacked any good places to get food/drink however.

Lovely zoo with lots of different animals that look happy and very well cared for. The grounds are well maintained and it is definitely worth buying the yearly pass to just visit here in the summer and bring a picnic.

I got round to most of it in 2 hours, and spent quite a while actually in the aquarium especially, and with the Gorillas. Though say 3 hours you will most likely cover everything including if you have some special interests... More
