This place has a lot of history on display its a lot of coverage of sex over the ages I would not recommend this to people that are offended by nudity or porn as it is a sex museum and the name should give a hint as to whats inside . I wouldn't say this is a good spot to... More

About 7 euros each to get in. Not what you would expect, a lot of art work, pictures and sculptures on how other countries and periods of time view(ed) sex. There were some sketches by Pablo Picasso which were cool. A room where they made it look like a kids play area with little painted toadstools, where they were showing... More

Hilarious trip out to see some not so usual exhibits! Definitely not one for the easily offended however perfect for tours or stag/hen dos! Only €5 admission and doesn't take a huge amount of time to get round. Would definitely recommend.

As we were walking by we thought we would pop in and check it out considering it was only 5 Euro which is cheap! It was very interaction and you can have a good laugh but it is a bit weird and crude but wouldn't except anything less from Amsterdam! Was a very fun experience

Visited this place 17 years ago and had some time to kill and curious to recheck it out. It's ok over all, well displayed and interesting artefacts. Most are irreplaceable however some of the mechanical stuff really need updating. The entrance is only €5 mind you yet still would do with a little refurbishment. Also very central just up the... Adults can visit this place when there's time as there's not many places in the world that has a sex museum. It's really an eye opener. Entrance fee is not expensive and you don't need a lot of time at this place.

This exhibit is right next to the tourist hub that is central station therefore was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. The cost is 5€ which is cheap compared to other places to visit in Amsterdam so if you are looking for something inexpensive this could be an option for you. The museum itself doesn't take long to walk around... More

In all honesty, we all really enjoyed this. It was great value for money and the photos you can get are amusing. It is obviously to a particular taste but if visiting Amsterdam it is one of the stand out features. Would recommend if you're looking for a laugh

For the €5 entrance fee it's worth a nosey. It's only a small building but full of exhibits. It's worth a look.

Only 5 euros to enter which is really cheap compared to the rest of the museums in Amsterdam! It was pretty funny to walk around for a bit, got some good laughs. There are a lot of bdsm and victorian pornographic pictures which were again rather amusing but also quite interesting. We took around 45 minutes to get around everything.

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
