It was 5 Euros to get in and it took about 30 minutes, no more than an hour. It was actually entertaining and strangely informative. It is right by the Central Metro Station, so it is easy to get to. It was amusing, someone has a great imagination with mannequins. Check it out if your in Amsterdam!!

An interesting at at times, highly amusing experience. Lots of historical exhibits and many photos.
Definitely not for children !
Visited with my sister and 91 year-old mother who coped admirably with the numerous steep staircases and all agreed it was good entertainment, and a good way to escape the unseasonably cold and windy April weather at reasonable cost.

Visited with friends and what a great way to spend an hour. 4 stars only because 9€ entry is steep (was 5 only 3yrs ago) otherwise just like Amsterdam it’s a spectacle and a good laugh at all the bits and bobs!
One of the staff Micheal was great from us walking in to the end. Very interesting guy and funny we enjoyed chatting with you!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.
Booked online and less than 10 hours later received a positive covid test, emailed straight away and asked to change to just 1 week later. Days go by and I hear nothing, so I call up and I’m told to email again. A further 3 days go by and I’ve still heard nothing, so I call again. I am told the owner will email me. Still nothing. I call again and receive a rude response that states they cannot suffer any financial losses and will not do anything. This isn’t a financial loss, because I’m not there, this should be so straight forward, like every other attraction in Amsterdam (who have been more than happy to change our bookings and have been super lovely!).
I get email responses from the ‘owner’ asking me not to harass them and calling me a ‘Karen’!!!!
Honestly, I should’ve read the reviews on here before booking. It looks terrible anyway, but you give the benefit of the doubt of it being a laugh. Poor customer service on top just makes this place absolute laughing stock. Go literally anywhere else in Amsterdam but here as they have the manners of a toddler.

I enjoyed this museum more than I thought than I would based on the mixed reviews. It is not very expensive for a museum on one of the main sightseeing streets (€9). It's a bit cheesy but a good laugh if you go in with an open mind and has some nice historical bits too. All in all a good laugh and definitely an Amsterdam must visit.

90% of the museum consists of pictures. Old, low quality pictures. Surely it must be possible to make this more interesting and appealing. Add a basic timeline, add video's, cover recent developments like internet, 3D, and so on.
All in all it felt a bit like a tourist trap for drunk tourists who want have a laugh. Not recommended.

Seen a few reviews online that say this is a "must see". Honestly have no idea how anyone can think this is worth bothering with, €9 and takes around 20 mins to get around?
A collection of unorganised tat and 130-150 year old pornographic pictures with absolutely no context or background on why it's there. Really disappointed

We were recommended to visit by our friends, and it was definitely worth it. We found it funny, strangely informative and just a good laugh. You take yourself round, the layout is quite logical, and the only staff are on the main entrance/exit. I can see why some people would not enjoy it, but just go in open minded and be prepared to be a bit taken back. It doesn't try to pretend to be the kind of museum where you'll see age old artefacts and listen to knowledgeable tour guides, so don't expect it to be like that which some of the other reviews seem to have done.

Although I found some of the items interesting - like the chastity belt, most of it was 60's & 70's porn and some old mannequins along with phallic shaped items. Kinda meh. They even have a whole section of plus size porn if you're into that. The most interesting part is the architecture of the building itself. - Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues.

Visited on a rainy afternoon in Amsterdam- only €5 to get in and a lot bigger than it seemed on the outside. Lots of stairs though , to see what was just essentially an extension porn collection. Not particularly shocking but quite a fun way to send half an hour.

Si acquistano in loco(5€):
Il museo non è molto grande e si visita in fretta,e ad Amsterdam ce ne sono molti altri di questo tipo.
