Cheesy and good for a giggle but not as good as the erotic museum

This seemed to be the better of the 2 sex museums in Amsterdam from the reviews, but I would beg to differ. It was packed so hard to see everything properly without queuing or... read more

As a group of about 7 20-odd year olds going to this museum was a joke more than anything between us. It was quite interesting as far as the history of Sex and Prostitution. It is quite graphic, you have been warned.

don't waste your time or money on visiting this museum. The most interesting thing in this museum is the Marilyn Monroe section the rest is just statues and photos of soft porn

This seemed to be the better of the 2 sex museums in Amsterdam from the reviews, but I would beg to differ. It was packed so hard to see everything properly without queuing or having someone in the way. It is a bit more of a maze inside and has a much more 'cheesy' feel. The exhibits are OK but... More

Considering the size of the queue to get in I was expecting something incredible, mainly just a few wax models not really doing a lot along & loads of old photos could walk round this and be out in 5 minutes, worth a look around but wouldn't call this a must see attraction in amsterdam

Funny but tacky good for a rainy day activity or something to do for an hour if you have the time. Steep narrow stairs and can be very full / busy during summer so can become slightly claustrophobic however I suppose this proves its popularity.

Been here before about five years ago so was intrigued to see if it had changed. Hadn't changed a bit, could do with some new exhibits and some moving exhibits weren't working but still worth the four Euro entry fee. Had a right giggle!

It's what it says on the tin! Lol thought I'd be embarrassed walking round but surprisingly I wasn't! Showed sex through the ages and had historical value. Was an interesting 20 mins but not for the faint hearted or easily embarrassed! Lol

On our last day we thought we'd take a stroll from our hotel and walk to the Sex Museum, was about a 30minute walk but it meant we could stop off at some famous coffee shops on the way :) For €4 pp it didn't disapoint. My boyfriend and myself found it pretty interesting and gave us a bit of... More
