Had to visit this place as id heard it was a good laugh, which it was. For 4 euros you cant really complain. There is some pretty messed up stuff in there though so be warned. But if you want a good giggle its worth a visit.

A funny and interesting experience, for only 4€ it couldn't be a wasted trip. Bit of a giggle walking round, plenty to see and read about or just to have a laugh

Had to visit this place when we were in Amsterdam. For €4 you can't really complain. The place had some shocking stuff in it, stuff that I couldn't imagine existing, even on the Internet. If your in town, give it a go. Obviously not suited for kids and be careful on the almost 90 degree staircases.

A really good place to visit and learn about the amsterdams history and one of its main attractions. Good insight into the life of a girl at the window and what it feels like.

The sexmusuem was a funny thing to do. And finally one attraction where we didn't have to wait in line for hours. The price to get in is also not too bad. Inside it was cool designed and interesting too. But it got boring at the same time too. I would say you can go in. And have fun, but... More

Some of the images are not for the faint hearted. Saying that most of the displays are funny. Recommended going with friends.

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
