Having visited the park well over 20 times you could say I am a fan. From the pancake house to the goat farm, to just cycling around on the bike paths. Taking the kids to the swimming pools, playgrounds, or fun forest. There is never ended activities to do. And I can't say a bad thing about Amsterdamse bos. It... More

There is a gem of a restaurant called the panenkoekenhuis in the bos, a must visit. Lovely place to see the country side of the local people

Hired bikes from the cycle hire at the enter acne to the Forrest (Amsterdamse Bos Fietsverhuur) The service was superb and the staff were able to sort out a small problem we had very easily and with no fuss. Highly recommend hiring bikes from here to get round the Forrest

As the name suggest it is protected green area which offers plenty of activities for children and adults. Jogging tracks, horse riding tracks, sports fields (hockey/tennis etc). Nice cafes for enjoying Kofie & Taart! :)

If the weather is good and you feel like stretching your legs or go cycling for a few hours, this is the best place in Amsterdam. There is a very good pancake farmhouse in the park and they serve all the pancakes you can image. You can rent small peddle boats , do horse riding, or spoil your kids with... More

In the middle of this busy town there is a park where you can relax, where people play instruments, dance or juggle for entertainment, while you picknick

It's a wonderful piece of nature where you can relax and enjoy the sun, run around or ride a horse, even take a swim. Seek for the rast-cows (a strange kind of cows with very long heirs..), they are amazing! And it's even a good location for airplane-watching: imagine laying in the grass looking at 747 or Airbus380 passing just... More

We had only one day to spend here. We rented bicycles at the Fietsverhuur Amsterdamse Bos de Boshalte. The owners were wonderfully helpfulness they are just across the street from the information center. The park is free to enter and has an interesting history as to how it was built, so check out the web site before you visit. We... More

Love the variety of things to do, the obstacle course is a great distraction for 10 to adult adventurers. We visited the goat farm too which was fun. Hire a bike and spend a day exploring. Lots of cafés, and swimming places if you get lucky with the weather.
