Large and beautiful park where you can enjoy some peace and tranquility, a nice walk or a picnic. The park has plenty of nice biking routes as well. When the weather is nice you can see rowing teams training which is fun to watch. There...More

Great place to escape the bustle and bustle of Amsterdam for a walk and some occasional plane spotting if the airplanes happen to land on the right runway. We took a walk after the storm and found a lot of fallen trees. Very impressive to...More

To Dutch standards it is a huge park (935 hectares) with 137 km of foot paths, 51 km of bicycle lanes and 116 bridges. Do not worry about the fact the park is 5,50 meter below sea level. Between 1934 and 1940 some 20,000 laborers...More

Who doesn't like the 020Bos? It is THE place to make love under the stars (if you know where to go to have some privacy), to go skinny dipping, as well as go with your kids and/or dig to walk, sport, picknick etc etc

We cycled through the park on the way from the airport into town. It is located directly under the flight path into Schipol airport and so we got to fully experience the turbulent cascade of decaying eddies after each landing plane had flown overhead.
