I had read about this monument and the significance of pink triangles under the nazi regime. This granite structure was hard to identify under the crowds of people queuing for the anne frank house. It serves as a reminder of the persecution that gay men...More

Interesting and quite aesthetically pleasing, however you could easily pass it by without knowing what it was or is significance. If you want information visit the kiosk nearby, they will help.

My wife and I went to Amsterdam for a 5-day honeymoon. We were visiting the world's first monument/memorial which commemorates all homosexuals who were killed by the Nazis. Unfortunately, there was no information on-spot that we could find.
