Private Holland Tours is specialized in affordable private guided tours for active singles, couples, families and small groups. I heartily welcome travelers from all countries of the world. My walking tours in Amsterdam often depart from the usual tourist routes, showing you the medieval city. Driving through the countryside I usually take the small scenic roads, thus giving you a better sense of Holland's rural environment.Professionalism, care and fun, plus my friendship are the cornerstones of my tours.Raymond Vandenburg, private driver/guide.

If you plan to visit Amsterdam, do yourself a favor: leave time to arrange a tour with Ray outside of the city. You will be so grateful that you did. Within just a day and within a close distance to the urban center, you can experience a very different side of Holland. Our choice to take the countryside and lakes... More

Ray picked us up from our hotel at the designated time then proceeded to take us on wonderful tour. In our booking we had asked to see the countryside around Amsterdam and he showed us many of the towns of interest. As we walked leisurely through the towns we visited he gave us a well informed history of all the... More

This attraction is only open during April and may but worth the trip. It's about 45 minutes outside Amsterdam. You can drive or take a bus trip. There is a lot to see - beautifully landscaped tulip gardens, greenhouses of roses, orchids, eating spots. You can even buy bulbs and plants.

We took a tour provided by Tours and Tickets that lasted 8.5 hours. Leaving from Amsterdam, we first visited Rotterdam and had time to look at the architecture of Rotterdam and to go to a shopping center full of stalls of different types. Then we went up the Euromast which provided a wonderful view of all of Rotterdam from 185... More

Quite simply, Ray was a delight and provided a lovely day for us with our teenage son. Our desire was to ride bikes through the windmills- Ray arranged for that- making our time wonderful. That being said: ask and Ray will make it happen. Our stops before and after were lovely, especially in the small towns. Lunch in a quaint... More

You have a limited time to visit between April and May but absolutely worth the trip. About 30-45 minutes outside Amsterdam. Amazing displays of tulips, roses, orchids, lilies, etc. beautifully arranged. You can even buy bulbs there or have them shipped home. They also have places to rest and eat.

Our day started early Ray arrived at our hotel 30 min early so we invited him to breakfast, after all we'd soon be nearly 7 hour ( RT) in the car together- might just as well get to know the man early. What a wonderful guy... we quickly discovered as a former editor of national paper, that he was a... More

We recently visited Keukenhop as it was on my bucket list forever and we finally got the chance. If you are in Holland in the last 2 weks in April or the first week in May (give or take a few days as it always depends on the weather) you MUST go. The flowers are fantastic. The showing in my... We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Bruges with Ray! The trip from Amsterdam was delightful and Ray could not of been a better tour guide for this enchanting city . The Belgian chocolates and waffles were amazing! If you have the time, this is not to be missed!

We spent the day with Ray on the Countryside and Lakes Tour. This was a nice break from the city of Amsterdam. Ray took us to several small communities to see the sites and experience some of the history of the area. Ray was easy to talk to and had great stories to tell. He made sure that we had... More
