Lovely little collection of streets just south of Westermarkt. The 9 streets are separated by canals and bridges and have a range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes. It's not the cheapest shopping in Amsterdam by any means but you'll often find quirky stuff you won't see elsewhere. A jewellery shop called BLGK and a leather shop called Hester van... More

Perfect place to visit all small shops, and not the main brand shops. The houses themselves are worth checking out. You will cross several canals which gives a great idea of amsterdam. One disadvantage is that the area is becoming more and more touristy.

Has lost his authentic atmosphere, to much people to much commercial brands and more terraces made the sidewalks to narrow

9 streets, all interconnected, with amazing boutiques, quirky shops and restaurants next to the canals. I always head here when in Amsterdam. Great for gifts and Christmas shopping. Don't miss it!
