Nice and peaceful area to hang out. Stopped here while on a tour, really like it. Not an area to drive in though, most of Amsterdam is congested, tight streets and expensive parking.

An interesting walk in the middle of Amsterdam. The bridges and houses are fascinating. The way the lean. The children were fascinated in the hoists at the top of each house. The house boats were varied. We took the canal bus later and the view from the canals around the city is worthwhile.

Nice the old canals in Amsterdam like the prinsen gracht showing the history of this city. Still a lot of watertraffic in these canals. All houses are build on "wooden palen" which are always below the water suface on top the the houses are build.

Take a stroll up Prinsengracht, dominated by the impressively towered church and quaint canal bridges.

If you're looking for a great canal to walk along, this is a great choice! Beautiful homes, house boats and bridges make this a unique walk you'll be sure to enjoy. Stop at a cafe and enjoy a cup of coffee, outside if the weather allows.

A lovely canal full of character, well worth 20 minutes of your time on a great spring day. No great highlights but just very relaxing.

Great canal to walk down - lots of shops, very charming. Tulip Museum and Noordmarkt flea market (Mondays when we were there) recommended. Jordaan area full of tucked away treasures.
