The best art museum in Europe I've seen so far.. Audio guide is a must if you want to understand the complexity of Van Gogh and his work.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Van Gogh Museum and thought that it was well worth the money. I was surprised by how many Van Gogh paintings were in this one museum along with other artists who he befriended and collaborated...More

The museum itself illustrates the development in van Gogh's art very well. It also includes a lot of fellow artists' works to underline van Gogh's history. However, waiting for 3 hours in the cold is not really worth it. Especially since there is a huge...More

Great museum, definitely a Must See! But what a terrible queue for tourists! Be prepared and buy your ticket online so that you can walk on straight through the entrance of the 'old' building. Another benefit is the non-existing queue for the wardrobe there. Apart...More

By all means, order your ticket in advance otherwise be prepared for up to 3 hr. wait. A wonderful experience.

Renovated with new temporary exhibition section it is a wonderful museum. Pictures are not allowed - perhaps to allow enjoying the paintings. I have seen better Van Goghs elsewhere.
