Very informative and interesting hour spent below the Reypenaer cheese shop. Lovely host with a great sense of humour and warmth. Enjoyed tasting the cheese coupled with different wines and ending in a delicious port! Definitely something to try in Amsterdam.

My boyfriend doesn't like doing touristy things, but loved this! We learned a lot about certain cheeses and enjoyed the tastings with the pairings. Definitely recommend.

Booked here not knowing what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! The tasting is done below the shop and its a little like being back in school. The one we attended was full, so there were about 20 people in total and you are sat in pairs. We tasted 6 cheeses in total and had a white wine, red wine... More

Reserved our space and purchased tickets online about 1 month ahead of our trip. Decided the combo cheese tasting and canal cruise was the best deal for us. The basement tasting room of the small Reypenaer shop is set up to handle an intimate group (I think 20, or so) with presentation on history, production, etc. Tasting included 6 delicious... More

I booked this as a package ticket with a boat tour. I went in at half four and gave my name, and was given my boat ticket for the Blue Boat Tours. I was invited downstairs to the tasting room, and again I was nervous since it seemed to be mostly older couples, but our hostess made the whole evening... More

We decided to come here as we got 25% discount with the iamsterdam card (‎€15 full price) and we were not disappointed. Even full price this is well worth the value. Book online in advance or make sure you go before the time you want just in case the session is full. We couldn't find the discount option on their... More

Wine and Cheese... What could possibly be better? We did this one afternoon and had a great time!! The wine was incredible and the cheese was some of the best I've ever had! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great in this little room under the main store. Highly suggest going here for an afternoon tour!

The cheese tasting was convenient and close to some great parts of town. It's long enough to enjoy and short enough to make this a relaxing activity before heading out to explore again. The teacher was informative and the hands-on cheese cutting gave you the opportunity to take as much or as little as you wanted.

First cheese tasting I've ever attended, very interesting. I've always been a fan of Dutch cheeses but I did't realize how the same cheese tastes so different at different ages. Ten month, one year and two year cheeses are quite distinct in flavor and texture. Our tasting was run by a charming young lady called Bo. A lot of fun... More
