A fantastic cosy traditional 'brown cafe'. Family run and they make their Dutch Apple pie on site and it's fantastic. Great place. No trip to Amsterdam is complete without visiting this place, trust me.

My favourite cafe in Amsterdam. Amazing value for money, and their apple pie is delicious! It's cosy, warm and friendly. Plus it looks like something out of a fair story!

To tell you the truth, this café's decoration and its beautiful windows are as important as the taste of their apple pie. If you want, you can have whipped cream with the pie slice, it's 30c euros more. And if you're a fan of Apple...More

This is probably the most photographed corner of Amsterdam - where Prinsen and Brouwersgracht cross.

I love the old Dutch Brown Cafes for a few drinks. I enjoy speaking to the locals. It was a beautiful afternoon and we enjoyed our biers outside watching the world go by. Don't miss this one.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
