Sean and Allison are very knowledgeable about Amsterdam's history and sights. We thoroughly enjoyed Sean's history of Amsterdam tour and couldn't imagine a better way to get to know the city. Allison's countryside tour was easy to do and so much fun! Their bikes are high quality and easy to use. A definite must when visiting the city.

I was a little nervous about a 23km bike tour in Amsterdam. It seemed like a long way, I hadn't been on a bike in awhile, and I was worried about other riders and traffic. This ended up being my favorite activity on our trip. The pace was perfect with plenty of stops to hear about the city and culture... More

My wife and I took this tour yesterday. Our guide, Antoine, was articulate, enthusiastic and very safety conscious. The brief period of riding in the city was a bit stressful as I hadn't been on a bike in about 30 years. But once we reached Vondel Park I started to feel confident. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of stops and... More

My husband and I had an amazing time on this bike ride to the country side. The scenery was absolutely break-taking and we fell more in love with this wonderful city. He made sure everyone was safe and was very knowledgable. We really appreciated his passion for the city and being a guide. The cheese and clog tour was great... More

We did the cheese and clogs tour. This was a really fun way to see the city sights, learn a bit of history and also see some of the countryside. Really well organised, great guide and a nice gentle pace. As long as you can ride a bike, have a go. We are a mature couple and kept up, no... More

The best 5 consecutive hours we spent on our visit to Amsterdam. Antoine is a first class guide with a vast knowledge of Amsterdam and a lovely sense of humour. He was attentive, considerate and patient with each one of us. The cycling is great fun and does not require a person to be fit or young. I highly recommend... More

This was by far our best day during our week long visit to AMSTERDAM. The bike ride was leisurely, informative and just plain FUN! Book your tour during your visit and you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I spent five wonderful hours biking through the parks and farm areas of Amsterdam. Our group of 14 adults pedaled through streets and parks and more rural area surrounding the urban areas. While initially concerned about the no helmet policy, our leisurely pace dispelled all concerns. Our guide, Antoine, was fantastic. Personable, witty, and extremely knowledgeable about... More

We had the GREAT PLEASURE of joining in on a Joyride Tour through and around Amsterdam on a recent visit to this wonderful city in July. We had a WONDERFUL guide named Antwone. He was extremely personable and spoke English very well! Our group was a nice size - not too big, and Antwone did a GREAT job keeping "watch"... More

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighborhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
