Just a fantastic evening from start to finish. From the welcome when arriving at the boat to the moment we stepped off the service was friendly and first class. Had read a few reviews before joining and whilst the boat doesnt have a galley don't let this put you off! The logistics of mooring up to collect the various dishes ordered on arrival worked perfectly with delicious food served each time. The rear of the boat is ideal for a quiet romantic evening, whereas at the front the captain provides more information on the journey. We had the added bonus of touring around the Amsterdam light festival during our time there

I booked this trip on a spur, while looking for a boat tour in Amsterdam. This cruise was among the first that appeared on my search list, and it looked OK enough to give it a try, even though it did not look that inexpensive at first glance. As far as dinner was concerned, I expected low quality fare at best, as has been my experience for similar venues. Boy, was I wrong. The boat we boarded was rather small (I wondered where the kitchen was), but a beautifully restored boat dating back from the early 1900s. The crew consisted ofctwo people, the Captain and the purser, who greeted us very warmly with a handshake. The total group size was smaller than 20, so rather intimate. We were given the choice to take a table either in the frob of the boat (near the Captain), or in the back. We chose the front, and did not regret it, since the Captain regularly pointed out highlights, and answered questions willingly ( so I would highly recommed the front, but this is depends on your personal preference). The tour started out with a glass of sparkling wine, and it just got better from there. The food was absolutely fantastic, both in presentation and quality. The secret of the missing kitchen was soon lifted; there are restaurants aling the canals catering to theae dinner cruises. This boat made two stops to pick up individually prepared appetizer, dinner and dessert plates. This was a logistical miracle. The food was simply fantastic ( the drinks are not included in the price for the cruise). The cruise itself lasted over three hours, more than the advertised 2 and three quarters. The reason was that the Amsterdam Light Festival had just started, and the Captain covered extra miles to pass by the main art installations ( including some explanations). Even without these additional detours, the tour covered a wide variety of the grachts, always with some good background information on the sights along the way. The boat itself was super cozy, and very beautifully restored. I saw other dinner cruise boat during this trip, but none measured up to ours. Normally I am more measured in my reviews, but I can highly recommed this cruise. It was well worth the price.

Very nice dinner cruise. We took Uber to location due to rain and easy enough to find with direction information on website. Four of us arrived on a night when rain was a downer but not so much to ruin the cruise. Sometimes windows would fog but hostess would come over to apply something to ensure it stayed clear. Staff (one hostess and Captain) were great. Enjoyed the cruise and very entertaining watching them hustle to get the appetizer and main course at different stops. It was still hot and good. Seemed long and maybe we were just tired from a long day of visiting Amsterdam but we were pleased when it ended. No narration although if you sit at the front, seemed as if the Captain was engaging with those nearby. Worth it for 2 hours and glad we did it but wouldn't think of this as a repeat adventure. Alcohol was extra other than the welcome drink.

In a word, excellent. Service was wonderful. Food was superior. The cruise was fun and we'll worth the cost. A real "must do" for lovers and happy couples.
